The team they were suppose to play had played an ineligable player in the past.

I went 22-10, 69% (with the exception of the Hillcrest game. the score is not in yet.) Region 7: I do not know all that much about west Tennessee basketball. If I did not know the teams I more or less went with home court advantage. Region 5: This region killed me. Region 2: This region hurt me as well. Region 3: This is the region I follow and I missed two of these games. This region probably had some wishful thinking involved. I will study up on the semi-final games today and make my picks by early Monday morning. Feel free to add you semi-fianl picks.

I do not know much about Clarkrange but I think it is a disadvantage to Clarkrange having a bye in the first round of regions. The region tournament is very different from the district tournament. The stakes are alot higher and the games more intense. The more adrenaline that passes through your body means your body will tire out quicker. Sometimes leading to a complete crash. Westmoreland has already played and won a region game. They have some of the jitters out. Maybe Westmoreland has a finger up when considering how their bodies may react.

DISTRICT CHAMPIONS! Sequatchie Co. Lady Indians continue their domination and finish district play undefeated. A perfect 19-0 in District 6AA. For the second striaght year the Lady Indians are District Champions. They beat Howard 69-59 in the championship game. Excellent game girls!

That is HILARIOUS!

Before last season they would announce it with the tournament bracket as most other districts do. Last year they did not announce the All-District Team because they did not want to hurt some players feelings or some team's chemistry. I do not think that is a problem this year. Nor do I think it was a valid reason last year.

Grundy Co. won the tie breaker again this year. Does anyone know how they decided it? Chattanooga Christian got the short end of the stick again. Maybe next year they should have a playoff game to decided who gets what seed. They could have played this game on Tuesday and no one would have an argument as to who should have been where. Also, any word on who made the All-District team/MVP?
