Vegas, David is going to be OK. The bone doc said he expects to clear him to play again by the 12th of Jan. The doc also said his superb conditioning was a key to his surviving and sustaining only fixable injuries. So the coach's emphasis on conditioning was a great blessing. It is a miracle he lived through it let alone being in one piece, praise God, the angels worked overtime on this one.

We played an awful, awful game and beat them easily, They had a good team last year. I know its a small school but 8 or 9 girls and what 10 boys on the team? Did something happen down there?

Hey union, I can't give you the details the way porky does, but I got to go with him on this..just because I love seeing david and dustin work together in the backcourt: O and D. Haynes or even Muldar at the 3 gives you that combo and the frosh can't play 3 due to size. I will say this, get the right combo on the court and the Vikings are a matchup problem for every team in the district. We can outplay at least 3 players on every team every time. Can I take a page out of Fresh's book here and go over the top a bit..can David point a team or what? The kid is all over it, can any two people guard him? How many people CAN he guard at once? Thanks to Coach Ed for seeing it and going with it. Ok OK at least I know when I am puffed up. Vikings Rule! Yes, Forrest and VB is the game of the season so far..VB is the suprising one..hiding out up there on the hill and coming down with guns blazing. Good luck guys!

Eagleville did not look shakey against community! They ran into more talent than anyone expected. Their guard play needs help, they have not found the guy to replace Shanks in the middle, and Aldaffer can't pull the load when he has someone like Natale stuck to him all night. Moore county is for real, Tyler and Georgio are tough as nails. I can't believe no one mentioned Forrest, they are the best team in D9 this year. Although, as Eagleville found out, and Cascade is about to, my Vikings are going to give them a game. For young talent ready to put a wammy on some folks at the tourny watch out for Community and Moore County. The teams that come out of D9 this year will go deeper.

Dang right D played a game! He is scoring at over a point a minute! I don't get a chance to get on here much so let me do some catch up. Can David be guarded one on one by anyone in the district...I don't think so. Can anyone stop Dustin from scoring when he is on the court....I don't think so. Is there a better 4/5 combination in the paint in D9..I don't think so. Is there a 1/2/3 player in D9 that david or dustin can't hold to half their normal point poduction...I don't think so. When the fooling around stops and the boys take the court...watch out! Of course I am biased..but the perfomance agains eagleville told the story. We have got it going on.

Glad to see you boys break the summertown jinx! Cory is the bomb, and with Nick throwing down that really gives him some room to operate. I am glad for the boys. Too bad we won't be able to see the matchups I was looking forward to this year when we meet. I know its a small thing for y'all as you focus on regions and states, but I was looking forward to it.

Well, we are new here so I don't know the history. I do know he gave my kid a shot and the boy has responded with more game than I thought he had. The coach likes to monkey around with linups but what the heck, it's working. I used to like doing that back when I coached (ok not HS ball ), sometimes it makes you look like a genius and sometimes you get burned. We crushed a weak Hampshire team tonight. Last year we struggled against even the weak teams. The bench played more minutes than the ballers and they suprised me! This whole team is pumped. Go Vikings!

Yes Unionville! Ok, the kid and his buddy get more time than they earn (shoot what papa doesn't love his son), but the team has talent (including edmonson and pierce). When the players get on the court together they are a matchup problem for anyone. Coach Ed has them pumped up and they are roaring!

Aunt Kim..you got to love her! Dearie, like me you suffer from partzimers..this is the boys playground. By the last game, my boys are going to give your boys a real suprise! Count on it. Natale is the best pg in the district and White is in the top three for 2 guards, Stallings and Hull are awsome down low. Get ready D9, my Vikings are coming for you!

We took santa fe apart even though one starter sat the entire game and another sat for all but 5 minutes. They have a good PG and some good post players but they did not flow as a team. In their defense natale had them tied in knots on both sides of the ball and he tends to do that to folks. They just were not ready for him. From what I saw they Santa Fe has some real potential, but it will be later in the season before they rise up.

What a difference a year makes! The Vikings are rolling and david, dustin, justin and josh are on fire. Watch out D9!
