  1. Don't count out them Blazers. The boys are ready to go back to the playoff's and and prove themselves. Regular season games are nice, but the playoffs are what every highschool player dreams of. I just feel sorry for whoever takes on Maryville from our region. I think they could take New England the way they play. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. I played for coach Sharp, and he is by far the best coach I have EVER played for. He knows his stuff, and I know that the reason he took Daniel out of the program was a good one. Don't jump to conclusions because it's hard to talk with your foot in your mouth.
  3. All true. They also took it upon themselves to spit tobacco in to our headgears, mine being one of them. Needless to say we weren't to happy last year. Anyway Boone wins in a landslide. You have no idea what this game means to the players. 42-0
  4. I'm gonna have to disagree with you there Mr. Bell. The Boone line is the strength of the team. I hate that the Volunteer game is how boone is judged. We just can't do anything with them these past few years. I know some of the linemen personally, and they ALL have outstanding footwork, and quickness. Some might not be physically as strong, but to be a linemen all you have to do is get your big butt in between the ball carrier and the hole. As for the cowboy linebacker, he is the heart of the team. He is one of the most outstanding human beings you will ever meet, and if you ever have a chance you need to sit down and talk to him. One last note sorry if I misspelled anything, I'm a dumb ol' hick. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  5. I wish I knew an answer to that one myself. In the past Boone hasn't been able to throw the ball much, if any. This year (from what I have seen) the passing attack is decent, of course what i saw was aganist was central, and we all know what they do every season. I will say that we have an awesome reciever in Nick Jones none the less. Anyway I hope this is a good game, and Boone hasn't beaten Mo West since we entered the 5 Rivers. I hope this can change Friday night.
  6. I couldn't find a topic on this game so I thought I would start one. I haven't heard much about Mo West this year, but I know that the trojans are always a force.
  7. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Volunteer has always given us fits. I don't know why. They beat us last year on our Senior night. Anyway I was just sayin Coach Jenkins and the Boone Defense is always up there with the best defenses in the region.
  8. Alright I'm gonna try to say something but I hope I don't step on any toes. Here goes... I played for Coach Jenkins the last 3 years, and the majority of preaching is on defense. He prides himself on a strong fast defense. Boone has outscored the other team 68-13 so I think that says something. I think if you give it another three or four years, Coach Jenkin's name will be right up there next to Coach Watson's. As for the game, I really think it could go either way. This Phillips guy has given us trouble in the past. Cough49-7playoffwinoverboonelastyearCough. Anyway I hope my good ole country boys can pull this one out. No prediction because I really would rather not taste my foot. You think I could get Kurt to give me an autograph before he goes pro?
  9. The boys up in Gray are working harder than ever. They are returning the entire starting backfield, and three of the five linemen. The recievers will be there to take up space and block, because to be honest they don't have anyone to throw to them. And Boone has, and always will be a running team. But with Jarrett in the backfield who can blame them? On Defense they also return the majority of the secondary. In the trenches is where most the damage was done, losing all but one big man. Coach Jenkins prides himself on having a team that is very tough to score on, and I'm sure this season will be no different. It will be intresting to see how the season unfolds for my boys.
  10. Yeah my poor boys up there. My friend on the team said during the spring they threw a total of 9 pass with 7 ints. but with the beasts in the backfield i don't think there is gonna much throwing goin on anyway.
