I do not agree that Soddy Daisy wins so much due to their coaches.Soddy Daisy has been lucky to have the tallent come through at Soddy. The coaches get too much praise!Question,If all the players for Soddy played for Brainerd(just throwing a team out there) Brainerd would have won state.If all the brainerd players played for Soddy they would have been dumed.No offense.Clifford and Lamar know softball but it is the players who deserve the glory.Outside peolpe also have no clue whay the Soddy Daisy girls have to put up with if the want to play High school softball.Both coaches can be major jerks and they do not care who they hurt as long as they win.Those two coaches have done some cruel things as well as win.So lets give it to the girls for even sticking it out at Soddy Daisy.If you asked past platers they will tell you the truth.I know first hand and this is not gossip!

What makes Ooltewah so strong this year.They have had the same pitching for the last 4 years and has yet to get the job done.GPS loves fast pitching.They hit Nikkie Waters so they will have no trouble hitting what ever Ooltewah has on the mound.Your pitching is good but you have to have tallent behind her and do not really see any.That is what helped Soddy Daisy,their defense was as good as their pitching,Ooltewah is not........Sorry.My prediction GPS VS Goodpasture should be a good game!

no dought GPS will take state this year as long as all the senoirs do not put their heads in their rears.That happens a lot when you have a team full of senoirs.As far as Soddy winning state there will be no way,they will do good to get out of district.Soddy lost some of the best players in Chattanooga and state for them was no walk in the park.AAA is the hardest competition in softball especially at state.The pitching is too weak and the defense is too young.Clifford would have to be a magician to pull state this year!Hope everyone has a great year,good luck to GPS and Soddy Daisy!!!!!!!!!!!

BEST OF PREPS ARE A TOTAL JOKE.THERE WERE SEVERAL GIRLS ON THE SODDY DAISY SOFTBALL TEAM BETTER THAN SOME THAT WERE PICKED.SODDY DAISY WAS NOT DONE FAIR BY ONLY GETTING TWO FOR BRST OF PREP NO MATER IF A SODDY GIRL WAS PLAYER OF THE YEAR!

I agree Alicia Buckner throws no where near 60 She does have a lond stride but she is not like hitting off Nikkie Waters.Katies bat is good but all starters were pulled from hitting off ND second string pitcher but Katie and that was who she hit it out on.If the other starters could have hit agaist her they would have hit it out too.Lets give credit when credit is due.

AAA RIVERDALE,SODDY DAISY WHAT A GREAT GAME THEY HAD LAST YEAR.BOTH TEAMS SHOULD HAVE WENT TO STATE! LAST YEARS GAME WILL BE REMEMBERED MORE THAN ANY GAME AT THE STATE.THAT WAS THE STATE GAME IN A LOT OF PEOPLES MINDS.RIVERDALE WAS BETTER THAN ALL THE TEAMS AT STATE EXCEPT CLOSE WITH SODDY DAISY.I WISH RIVERDALE AND SODDY DAISY LUCK THIS YEAR,THEY HAVE EVERYONES RESPECT!

Pitching -Nikkie Waters Defense - a lot from Soddy - Lyndsey Stilles, Amanda Johnson(one of the best 3rd basemen I have ever seen) Hitting from Soddy - Katie Blevins,Nikkie Waters,Amanda Johnson,Jena Hale,Stacy Fairbanks GPS has good defensive players as well.Amy Campbell,Kristen Holloway Camrie chester, Gps will go far if they have any pitching this year.Red Bank - who knows Ooltewah-- Holly Thomas Good luck to ALL!!!!!!

With the Coaching tallent Soddy Daisy has with Clifford Kirk,Lamar Lasley and Mr Skiles they are working all the girls hard.They are having 4 hour practices and that is what it takes to be state champs.Yes those two girls were a big loss but Soddy always has the tallent to fill spots.Soddy Daisy still has a heck of a line up with Lindsey Stiles,Amanda Johnson,Katie Blevins,nikkie Waters,Jenna Hale all those girls are power hitters! The rest are not bad either.Plus the power pitching of Nikkie Waters!!!!! Good luck to the lady Trojans,bring it home again this year!
