Cwood#1

Both of these boys are great players. I would consider Wes to be a better shooter that Tyler, however Tyer seems to be more aware of when not to shoot and better at getting the ball to his teammates. They are both great players. Congratulations to Tyler for getting the MVP and to Wes for being a Mr. Basketball finalist. I am not a Summertown fan but Wes is a good kid and deserves the recognition. I'm just proud to have someone from district 12 nominated. I think everyone should be proud of the accomplishment for both of these boys.

The first time Waynesboro won by 18 and Allie Ward did not play because she was sick. The second time Waynesboro only won by 2 points. Congratulations on the win last night! Good Luck to the team in the region!

You should be proud that four of our boys made the team. Cameron Martin played two good games in the region tournament and he deserved to be picked as much as anyone. I do agree that Jake Brewer should also have made the team as well but you never have five from one team. The difference in Collinwood and the other teams is that Collinwood plays team ball and plays together. All the other team have one or two star players.

You obviously don't know anything about basketball if you don't think Collinwood has a good team. They play together as a team. They are not selfish. That is not something you can find in a boys team these days. True Cully beat them twice but Collinwood can definitely hang with them. I think this might be the best game of the tournament.

Don't know where you were sitting in this game but I was sitting right behind the bench. This kid has the worst attitude I have seen in a while. He complained the whole time he was on the bench and did not listen to anything his coach said to him. He was very disrespectful to the coach. I hate to see that much talent wasted on someone with an attitude like he has. If he doesn't change it he will never make it in college. I know he is just a kid so I hope he grows out of it because he has a lot of talent.

If you watched the game you would know that the reason for the foul situation was because Loretto was fouling at the end to try to get the ball back. Also the reason for the free throw difference. THe refs were horrible but not for either team. They didn't call anything but you can't blame the loss on the refs. Collinwood just out played Loretto and made the clutch free throws at the end to win the game.

I think Collinwood will win but it will be a close game. If collinwood plays like they did against Zion on Friday night they will not lose any more games this year.

Thompson doesn't just play for himself. If someone else is open then he passes it back out. There are not many post players that will do that. I think that those three guys play good together. What about Tyler Thompson from Collinwood? He is 6'6' and one of the top scores for Collinwood. He is one of the most unselfish post players I have seen in a while.
