1. That is tempting and mathematically you are correct however I would be jeopordizing my "Husband of the Decade" status of which I have a lock on at this time.

    Harry

  2. Congratulations to Tee Boone the 125 lb senior who just broke the school record for wins at Notre Dame. His overall record is 171 wins and 11 losses (as of Jan 12) which includes a 28-0 record for the season. His most most recent wins eclipsed the previous mark held by Jay Adamson who was a two time state champ for the Fighting Irish. This is an incredible accomplishment for Tee and I know that everyone at Notre Dame is very proud of him. As good of a wrestler that Tee is he is even a nicer young man! Way to go Tee!!

Great work by a great young man.Apples might not fall from the tree but if they fall on a hill they can roll a good ways! Congrats

  3. No harm no foul. Lovinit I wish that more people were as passionate for the sport as you and your hubby. I remember asking someone who your son was and the reply was they don't have a child that wrestles they just really enjoy wrestling, and this was a tournament in Birmingham last summer.

Starting next week I will take nomination along with cash, to try to please everyone.

My vote for wrestler of the week is BCB. The way he wrestles and dominates those soda pop bottles is impressive.

  4. Jake, the OLPHERS are very proud of you and look forward to watching you for the next 4 years.

I am not a big fan of College wrestling, having only this years Blue/Gold match on my resume, but with the local talent that Coach Bono is recruiting, I will be a bigger supporter.

Congrats again Mr Young, and kick some butt this year.

    bcb iii /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Will Mrs Young be able to watch his matches in College? Has she gotten over her " igettonervoussoiamgoingtogostandinthehalluntilmybabyisfinish" condition?

Jakesdad, if you let her come to a meeting with Harry and I, we will work with her and solve this problem. Soon she will be down on the floor and maybe sitting on the bench yelling " cut him and go again"

Jakesdad, this is how it starts and then before long she is playing quarter bounce and standing on the tables. You have been fairly warned.

  5. And this fight ends in a knockout. Raider76 throws this hay maker to end this discussion.

By the way raider76, I thought you were going to be gone this weekend? I was planning to do some plumbing work at your house, but if you are going to be home, I guess it can wait.

    bcb iii /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Does Raider 76 always have something wrong at his house?Whats wrong with those pipes over there? They are always having to be snaked. My advice is move to a new house or call a different plummer, maybe one that can get the pipes really cleaned out.

  6. Before we get started this year, on what I consider to be the greatest year of High School wrestling, I would like to welcome all new-comers to CoachT.

I would like to share some information that may make your journey easier. I was voted by my peers ( Harry and the late Ijtx) as the smartest man on coacht and with this award comes the duty of making sure that you dummies, I mean you guys that are new to the Board, know what you can and can not say.

So if you will take out a #2 pencil, grab an adult beverage, ( of course only if you're 15 ) and sit back and learn the Ins and outs of what I like to call " My World"

    1. Support your Team, not your boy. We(PBD) and I call this THE MAXI. see the 47 topics about who's the best 103lber started by you know who.

    2. You can call adults Idiots. After reading several of these people's posts, it will become obvious,so let them know it. Some past posters Keefjams and Stovepipe, were prime examples.

    3. Do not poke fun at a young-un. Now I can hear you saying "But bcb iii /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" /> what if some of the posters that are idiots are young-uns?" I am only talking about the young-uns and their wrestling talent. If a underage person, (what is that age 16?), voices an idiotic statement, slam em.

    4. Be active. And by this I mean, come to as many meetings as possible. If you can't, then support your team on caochT and let people know that " Daniel Boone , is going to be a heck of a team"

    5. Start early and hate TBSFBAG and TBSFMAW. These two teams are the best in the State. They have become very stingy and will not let anyone else win a State title.

    6. If you are man or woman enough to say something that might make a mommie or daddie get upset and want to castrate you, then have the balls,no pun intended to put your name on your statement. By the way , I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Joe Waddell.

    7. Always cheer for The Irish of Notre Dame.

    8. Last but not least, if you see a couple of men who appear to have lost their car in the parking lot, take the time to help them out.

If anyone would like to expand on the rules, you have my blessing.

    bcb iii /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

I think two other rules should be in

1.BCB is not allowed to get your wife drunk and take advantage.

2.No talking about what cheerleaders wear.

  7. That is no way to talk about your relatives.

OK Don, I think the wrestling community has proven that what happens in our world stays in our world.

We are not like the sissy kick ball community that gets upset if their team gets the snot beat out of them, and then cries cause the other team ran up the score.

We have fans that are yelling " kill him, Cory" and "crank it Daniel".and those are the mommies

So take your tiny little a@@ and go play nice with the kick ball people, for I fear, WE, might unite and tear you a new one.

By the way, their is only 1 incident that could get me in trouble and that happened 20 years and 9 months ago. You see I had just moved in my neighborhood and Raider76 suggested that he and I go out on the town to celebrate our arrival. Well to make a long story short, around 4 in the morning we arrived home and I went straight to bed. When I awoke I noticed a tiny, and I mean very, very small pair of shoes and a small pair of gloves on the floor and realized that I was not in my bed and the romance that I had had was not with sexylongandlean ( sorry honey). The eggs bacon pancakes coffee juice and strawberries, while being fanned in bed was wonderful but the incident was never spoken about until today.

On another note I would like to wish Daniel Waddell a belated Happy Birthday, he turned 20, 3 months ago.

So you see Don, nothing on me.

    bcb iii /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Go lady Irish kick ball team

Bcb is offering up alittle tidbit in hopes of suppressing any further info on himself, I can assure all their is much much more. And him noticing a "tiny" something might not be a pair of shoes.

  8. Well I don't want to gossip but word has it he got all those beads he wears at a certain downtown nightclub with an alternative lifestyle. Apparently at this club they give BCB beads every time he lifts his shirt. From the number of beads I would suspect he has bared his chest many a time.To each his own.

  9. LaFayette is out of 1st by 1 point after the quarters.

Notable loses in the quaters for AAAAA:

112 - TJ Mitchell (hit with stalling while on bottom......being ridden with both legs in....with 2 seonds left.....bout sheet shows no previous warning....only to St. James)

    140 - Kendall Albert

WOW-That has to be a big upset.

  10. I think the word I chose was Idiot. Obnoxious seems so.... unfriendly, and I'm sure there are no more than, ( i'm trying to remember how many Bradley folks there were) 179 people that see me in that light.

Sorry, BayouBear just called and said he was in the restroom when I did my head count, so make it 180.

Trouble Maker, BRB and I are big fans of yours, and hope that next year you will be more active. Of course, I'm sure your wife hopes the same thing.

    bcb iii /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Sorry, I did not want to be unfriendly just wanted to have a little fun with the Board's favorite poster.

  11. 5. To see if BCB can actually be twice as obnoxious next year with Tee and Jack wrestling. It would be hard to believe.

    4. Read about a dirty old man's obsession with cheerleaders. For goodness sake man have your wife play dress up and get over it.

    3. To read one of Buck Lateral's novels. After the first 5 paragraphs you will find yourself taking one heck of a nap.

    2. Not read about where Nelson Pinstaff is going next year.No offense to this young star but it was really nobody's business.

And the number 1 reason to read Coach T next year

1.To see how the TSSAA tries to ruin next year-make wrestling dead period from Febuary to November, supply the kid's water hoses to drink out of, only allow CB radio coverage of the state tournament. I am sure they are scheming as we write!

  12. OK this post was started to bring out the fun for this great wrestling rivalery. As promised in the first post, as that I am going broke sending my kids to McCallie and Baylor, I have the full right and privelage to critique both, either, or none with full immunity. I promised to keep a score card based on bad sportsmanship so here is my tally so far:

    BAD SPORTSMANSHIP TALLY:

McCallie: 1 point for "outing" Walkenvol (though its nice to know, maybe I'll be a little more careful next time I decide to engage in some direct verbal sparring). Considering some of the things I've posted on CoachT, being "outed" is uncool. Thank goodness I've done such a good job hiding my own identity, right BCB and HT?

MCallie: 1 point for directly slamming a fellow poster's son or wife (no penalty applies for slamming the poster himself).

Baylor: 1 point for multiple post slamming a program for KIDS. Remember, the wrestlers themselves look at these post and when Baylor fans enjoy kicking a sweet hearted old dog when he might be down, you may as well start booing the Blue as soon as they walk on the mat. Which of course I will take note of.

SO FAR: McCallie: 2 Baylor: 1

Try these: I wonder who will be a 5 timer; Baylor's 103 or McCallie's 112 or 135? Who will McCallie throw against Whitaker at 125? Which two will have the best match? Which kid will be the most fired up? Can either team muster the guts to have even one hot cheerleader show up? Will McCallie bring someone up at 103? Does any one have scoop on the unknown heavier weight classes for both teams? Will the meeting place have a special on draphts that afternoon?

    You know, positive things!

PS: I say Mayo's on Brainerd Rd for the meeting, but that's for the social chairmen to decide

Mentioning cheerleaders in every post???? McCallie 5 points

  13. R76, you are a Gentleman and I accept the invite! Breaking bread and drinking the fruit of the vine with good company is something I enjoy almost as much as wrestling!

    CC

Cupcake, If you go meet these two scoundrels before you know it you will have a $100 bar tab, a new million dollar life insurance policy that you don't need, and a wife who mysteriously starts talking about becoming swingers. You have been forwarned.

  14. Glad to see you are still around. Did you get out early for good behavior?? I mean did you have a nice trip?

    bcb iii /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

My boy I am just picking my spots

  15. I think the Florida sunshine might have fried your brain. Hixson is back. If you don't believe the word of the most intellectual man on this board, then call the Big Owl over at Ooltewah.

    bcb iii /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />

Who might you think is the "most intellectual man on this board"? If we were discussing which bar has what beer on tap I might agree that you would be ranked in the Mensa category.

As I leave for some errands, before heading to a bitter-sweet State tournament, let me tell all you son of a guns.

    I knew who shot JR

    and........................

I know who the great BRB is

    so nan nana boo boo

But I gave this man my word as to not reveal his Identity, and I'm having as much fun keeping the secrect as the man hunt itself. BRB I've thought of a great coming out party, so give me a call

    bcb iii

Nice try BCB but I don't think BRB is going to fall for it. Good luck too Tee!

This is the new Grammar Cop on CoachT. He is also available to work Bradley Wrestling events.

Dear BCB, Your actions and the actions of all wrestling fans on this board have not gone unnoticed. Punishment is in order. Next year we are going to hold the individual state in Bristol on Mon, Tue, and the finals being at noon on Wed. The state duals will be held in Pulaski on Mon. and the finals tue. at 8 a.m. We are doing this in order to keep fan support down and to keep conflict as low as possible. Ronnie

  18. QUOTE(CHATTWRESTLING @ Feb 12 2007 - 03:01 PM) 826368842

Why did you go without protection? You could've been killed. Where was Harry when the atrocity was commited.

Dear BCB, After reading the BRB mystery and your ability or lack there of to figure out who BRB is had me suspicous that the ol elevater of yours was not quite hitting the top floor. Now that I know you went to Bradley County(without protection) to tape potential opponent's for that fine son of yours, it leads me to think that you don't have an elevator. Please tell us you had consumed a whole case of pepsi before you went on this suicide mission. Did your daddy, who is a great guy, drop you on your head when you were little? I always thought those 2 boys got their good looks from their momma, I know now that the common sense came from her too.

  19. QUOTE(bear cat brown @ Feb 8 2007 - 06:43 PM) 826364093

Back to the drawing board boys. Looks like we are 0 for ?

    Let's count them

    WV

    WJOE

    MRSWJOE

    HEY HEY HEY

    Red Pants

    Who else?

The young man that was our pick of the day, returned my call and was flattered by the thought that we spend at least 3 hours a day on this manhunt, and we just knew it had to be him. He declined those size 19 shoes. Maybe it is Raider76 or Art .

    Anyone have any Prozac ?

Never mind, a season ending meeting will take care of what hurts

    Let's Go Irish

    Bear Cat Brown

BCB, next time you are on the golf course turn and look back from those ladies tees you play and if you get lucky you will see BRB. It appears that will be your best chance of solving this mystery.

  20. QUOTE(BigRedBlooded @ Feb 8 2007 - 02:58 PM) 826363712

Being that I'm 4'2 with a BMI of 113, I would think I'd have been conspicuous whether you knew me or not, no?

If that message actually exists, BCB, it's got to be one of the funnier recordings ever made.

I think BCB is going to end up on prozac if he does not figure this out soon.

  21. QUOTE(bear cat brown @ Feb 7 2007 - 10:05 AM) 826361803

Trouble Maker, a drinking contest ? No No no no. I did enjoy several pepsi's and stimulating conversation with a couple of The Baylor school for Boys and Girls Moms. But it turned out way different than your version. Raider76 would you like to comment on the outcome ? I did however have a massive sugar headache and tummy ache for several days following, but finally am at full speed. And one last thing, I ain't bi-lingual and would never use those words to a couple of skirts from the Baylor School for the Boys and Girls

    bcb

BRB must have been mistaken then. I didn't think it was true.

  22. QUOTE(Herm @ Feb 7 2007 - 08:26 AM) 826361671

Ross, I am both married and the father of two reasonably successful high school wrestlers, and I can unequivocally confirm that you are correct.

What if your dad can't beat a woman in a drinking contest like BCB. He, from reports inside the party at state duals, was drunk under the table by a couple of women. What a sad day for the Catholic school when one of it's prodigal sons says"no mas".
