Again, We can not express enough how much everyones prayers and thoughts mean to us right now. We have moved Merissa from Kingsport to the Childrens Hospital at Scottish Rite in Atlanta. She making some improvement, she is awake,and communicating with blinks of her eyes and nods of her head. Her Doctors and therapists are really optismistic. We don't know what the future holds but we are taking each bit of progress and focusing on that alone. She has made some really big steps since her move on Friday 3-02-07. I would ask for continued prayer for her recovery and for our family both immediate and extended. We could not have come this far with out Gods good grace and all of your prayers and support. She is at the Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite 1001 Johnson Ferry Rd. NE Atlanta, Georgia 30342 Again Thank You All and may God bless you all, Merissa's Family

first and foremost we can't even begin to put into words how to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. As for Merissa's condition their has been some signs of improvement. She has been off then breathing tube since wed. she has had her ups and downs.But is starting to wake up, she is still in a coma but has been opening her eyes, and today she started responding to some directions. She stuck out her tongue and wiggled her toes. We are trying to get into a rehab hospitial possibbly in atlanta or knoxville. Thank you all again and please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She loves the game more than anything and the outreach that has come from the basketball has been incredible. We love you all for what you have done for us in our time of need .But let us not forget all the other young people out there that need our love, prayers, and help. thanks, Merissa's Family
