Yeah lets get that dude fired!!!! Horrible coach... What was he thinking? He is the first person ever to do this! He definitely wasn't thinking about what was best for his team. Wrestling all his JV/freshman in an exhibition match so the fans could still get something out of it was stupid too. Can't believe that guy. What a moron...
Lol, too funny!!!!

Also, 138 #2 Austin Richards was pinned by Delgato of Hendersonville at Ryan
Yes he was. The guys I have ranked behind Richards also have some losses so I didn't feel that he should be moved down after this loss.

Legal or not, the wrestler better be really injured if he chooses to not compete. If not, take your penalty point and keep going.....

I have been around him and his family, they are good people.

Im still woundering on how Bray decides his rankings this early, is it from past rankings? Yes i know about the coaches entering the win loss and weights but in a couple of cases it seems like he put kids in first place that have never wrestled in this season weight class, just trying to justify his placings.
It's easy...I guess! Rankings this early in the season, you have to rely on the information that you are sent (never very much) and for the other 95% of the time I guess at the weights this early. My rankings came out before anyone else's and I know a lot of people will wait and see where kids are before they start ranking them. I try to go by several things; did I see them wrestle this summer, their grade as the freshmen and sophomores tend to have higher weight jumps than do juniors and seniors, and who are their wrestling partners/programs. I also shoot them out there early because nobody wants to send information until they see their kid at a wrong weight or ranked somewhere other than what they believe. It's all good though. You know why???? It gets people talking about Tennessee Wrestling!!!! That's why I have done this for free as long as I have, trying to keep our sport in the conversation.
As far as Lopez is concerned, he's been at the top of the podium. In the words of one of my favorites, Ric Flair: To be the man, you got to beat the man, wwwhhhhooooooo!!!!!!!!

Ruff N' Tuff Wrestling Club is a new wrestling club in Murfreesboro, TN. We will focus on Freestyle, Greco-Roman, and Folkstyle wrestling. Ruff N' Tuff is affiliated with USA Wrestling and will provide wrestlers from middle school and up an opportunity close to home to develop and refine their skills. The Club will be headed up by Rene Karteron, former state medalist from Tullahoma and Blackman High School club coach. When TSSAA rules permit, the club will also be assisted by Ronnie Bray (Blackman), Shawn Jones (Riverdale), Lee Ramsey (Siegel), and many other area coaches.
Ruff N' Tuff will practice Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4pm-6pm. The cost of the club is $100 for the ENTIRE season plus the cost of your USA card. You must have your USA Wrestling Card to participate. We are in the process of getting sponsors for singlets and warm-ups. We will practice at the wrestling facility on campus of Blackman Middle school, used by Murfreesboro Elite and Blackman High School. Don't miss the opportunity to better yourself!

Don't forget the job Tony Bradley and Jonathan Simpson are doing at Germantown. And yes, Tim Pittman at Gibbs is VERY underrated.

My fond memories of state this year:
1. Legrand Sommers making the finals. Appeared to have an easy draw but had to defeat the 3rd, 4th, and 6th place finisher to get to the finals.
2. Alec Myers placing in only his 2nd year wrestling.
3. Seeing Brandon come back from injuries to claim his 3rd state title.
4. Knowing we have 6 qualifiers coming back.....for 2 more years at least.
5. Seeing the Tullahoma boys bring home medals. Put in a lot of hours with them and so proud of them.
6. Seeing the great job Brian Loeffler and company are doing at Cordova.
7. Seeing the sharpshooters develop into some pretty dang good high schoolers.
8. Impressed how Phillips can take almost any kid and have them winning matches at state.
9. BCB finally getting the boy to the top step.
10. Packy Mullin is going to be a beast.
11. Jack Faircloth making a cameo.
12. Sharing in the heartbreak of those guys who came short of attaining their goals.
13. Last but not least. A moment of silence for Jeff Lester's sweatshirt. Cody Cleveland went and got Lester all GQ'd and made him retire the sweatshirt. That thing has made more finals than Campbell Lewis and Zach Watson.

Hamm did a great job this year. He gets to wear the crown until next February......
