We expect weigh-ins to be conducted properly and wrestlers to try maintaining their scratch weight rather than trying to gain advantage by putting on weight. Line-ups must be entered on Track Wrestling. You will receive an email link. Please indicate skill level 1-4 (Elite-1, Good-2, Fair-3, Beginner-4) Email Dale Bradford at gdbradford@comcast.net if you don’t have a link. BRACKETS: Round Robins will be used for bracketing. Several region champions that didn't qualify for state. And before you give me the "cream rises to the top" spill, yes it does. I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about the 2-6 spots that are many kids last chance to get on the podium and this is just another roadblock from making that happen. I don't think that helps us grow at all.

  5. Region 3/4 sectionals will be at Rockvale HS
  6. Blackman will be having their Early Bird Preseason Tournament on Nov 20, 2021. Nolensville will also be having their preseason tournament on the same day. Please email me at ronniebray@hotmail.com and let me know which one you are coming to so that we can prepare for mats and referees. If you're new to our tournament and want in, send me an email. There will be Boys and Girls Divisions and properly grouped with similar experience and weight.
  7. Blackman's will be Tuesdays at 6pm starting March 23.
  8. The NCAA is only allowing 4 tickets per qualifier this year. There will be no other tickets sold to the public. This does NOT include the suites. Lower level suites at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis are $12,000 and includes 10 tickets. This does not include any food or beverage. I would really like to go, but I need 8 more people willing to commit to go in this with me. That's $1,200 per ticket for all sessions. If you want to be in this suite, text or call me and let me know how many tickets you want. If I can get to 10 in the next couple of days, I'll get it. Let me know! 901-289-1232.
  9. I do not like the idea of a sub state. For our region, we would be paired with the Bradley/Cleveland region. So a kid would have to survive our region and then compete with the Cleveland/Bradley region just to go to state. Some teams will have a very hard team to have any state qualifiers. I don't like the idea of anything that makes our state tournament smaller. I know there are issues in keeping it large. However, I believe this doesn't help grow the sport. I feel like we're going backwards.
