Two of the schools above are division 2 and may as you say" persuade " players to come to that school. We are division 1 and we play with what we got.

This is only our third year of basketball and we have never been rated before this season. You are confusing us with the Grace from Chattanooga. Congrats to the West but the East plays some pretty good b-ball as well.

Why can't you just lay off ? You know, this is all new to us. Did anyone think that we would be at 22-0 at one point. No, not even us. This is only our third year of basketball. We started off with 8th and 9th graders two years ago playing in the varsity level. We have less than 150 students in our high school. Please, give a little credit where credit is due. We are a very small christian school and we are trying to enjoy the moment but it seems like everyone is trying to run us down. GCA does not put out the AP rankings neither do we set the district teams. We go out and play 32 minutes of roundball and we have lost many, many games in the past but we are winning now. Congrats to Rockwood, they are a very good team and they won a hard fought game last night. The refs did a good job....we are not laying blame on anyone but ourselves. You ask are we for real, yes I believe we are. Do I think we are the best team in the state right now, no probably not, but we are trying to get there. We have an outstanding head coach and assistant coaches and a great group of kids and no matter how far they go we are very proud of them. GCA........Building Champions For Christ

I have seen a lot of basketball in my days. I have played it, I am a current fan, and I am a current TSSAA official so I am involved in this great sport at least 4 nites a week. There's a lot of good single A basketball teams in the East and there are a few great ones as well. Don't knock Grace Christian until you have seen them or played them because I can tell you firsthand that they are a very well disciplined hard playing and very well coached team that doesn't give up. The Rams are the real deal so Let's quit talking about the strenght of schedules and just simply go play 32 minutes of roundball. GCA Rams.......Lead, Build and Equip. Building champions for Christ

I totally agree with you.

We play Cosby Tuesday night (district game). We play in one of the toughest districts in the state. We have recently won 2 tournaments beating AA schools in both (Union Co. and CAK) for the crown. Not saying we are the best team in the state but I think we will be contenders this year and next....for we have no seniors, only sophmores and juniors. BTW. this is only the third year that We have had basketball too.

We are in Karns on Oak Ridge Highway. New High School built for us last Fall with football field and a collegiate size gym. Just beside Grace Baptist Church

How about the GCA Rams from Knoxville.....

It seems like everyone is leaving out the Grace Christian Academy Rams in Knoxville. We are currently 15-0 and are ranked number 1 statewide in the win/loss rankings. Not saying we are the best team in the state but I think we will be a contender this year and next for we have no seniors, (Only sophmores and juniors)..........LOOOK OUT !!

I believe the East will have number 1 in A and AA. Grace Christian Academy and Fulton (both of Knoxville) are still undefeated. Go Grace Rams
