  1. Laken won in class A??...i surely thought Kayla wouldve got it, she had the better year by far i thought and plus her team actually made it to State.

Making it to state has nothing to do with it. Based on season not tournament play. They vote before tourny starts.

  2. yeah, because the coach is the one that goes out and makes the shots. And boxes out. And makes the passes. Must be her fault.

It is a game, played by kids. period. Sometimes you win, sometimes you dont.

Told you so didn't I. Upperman loses the big one again.

The simple fact that lamar said so, but maybe you know more than he does. Please share with the rest of us.

Why should anyone listen to you. Pay your money to be on coach T or stay off. You must be Larmar, you even know what hes thinking. Tell me something, who didn't invite him, who runs the tournament. When the tough get going, Larmar runs the other way.

  4. I promise you Lamar did not make the decision not to come, he was very dissappointed that he was turned away. Competition does not scare Lamar or his teams. Apparently you don't watch them much. He has been in it every year and likes the tough bracket. Get your facts straight.

My facts are straight buddyroll. Prove me wrong.

  5. We have been in it every year, Lamar was turned away. Maybe some of the teams in it, didn't like the competition! /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

Larmar made the decision not to come. Its open to anyone that wants to come. First come -first serve. CR and Baxter chose not to come. To much competion i guess, maybe mess up his perfect season, cut in on his total wins take longer to get to 1000. JC is the only A team in the tourny, should tell you something. He had no trouble playing games at start of season, played 2 a day then. He could pick who he wanted to play.

  6. Jackson Co will be tough this year no doubt, they themselves had a very talented transfer to move in and with Laken still playing head strong they'll be tough. But with the experience Clarkrange has going into this season I see Clarkrange eventually finishing better than JC at the end.

    Wo-ye of little faith.

  7. Just curious as to where or if these gals are playing in college.

Cortney Dyer and Misti Maxwell- Jackson County

    Chelsea Brown- Stone Memorial

Very talented, nice girls. just wondering...

Dyer is going to TTU on academic scolorship. I think Maxwell is playing somewhere, not sure.

  8. Clarkrange will have to be the favorite to get 08 in 09..........lost no starters and gained a very talented player.

Remember, it is not where you start, it is where you finish.......I'm prepared to enjoy the ride, come what may /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

  9. This could be right. However the sad part is that people would be so jealous and

to not give anyone especially young people credit when their hard work, and

ability pays off in success. People hate the New England Patriots because they

have excelled in their sport. Jackson County has excelled because of the fans,

coaching, and excellent young student athletes. Now it is a free country, but we

should try to keep an open mind, and give credit where credit is due. That

the Herald-Citizen dislikes Jackson County so much they gave coach of the

year to Clarkrange coach Lamar Rogers and a player from a team other than

Jackson County only verifies this. Till they are beaten Jackson County and

Clarkrange should be one and two.

As usual Jackson Co. gets hind ///. No respect, Jealousey is what it is. Every coach in 7a is jealous of Jim Brown. JC beat every coach at least twice last year. Beat CR 5 timws and you still praise Lamar. The coaches all voted for Larmar as coach of the year for 2nd place, fully knowing 1ST. place always gets it. You could expect that from White but not the rest of the coaches. I thought that was really neat teaching the kids to be jealous of other girls and other teams. You 7a coaches should be ashamed. Who ever wins that last game will be no. 1.Everyone have a wonderful and safe season.

  10. Hey Devil, You guys wouldn't have to worry about your enrollment going up if Jimmie B. would stop pulling in so many girls from surrounding counties. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />

Sir I believe that Jimmie B. could care less what you think or anybody else. He won 4 gold in AA why would he care about moving back up. Their less compatition in AA than their is in A right now anyway. The real reason you want them out of A is not enrollment, its everone is tired of loseing all the time. Please don't start this bull about recuriting thing again that was buried a long time ago

  11. So where is the rule that says you have to shake hands after a sporting event?

I agee with muffin, I doubt Lamar cares what you think. And to be honest, I was setting 4 rows behind the Clarkrange bench, and I don't think Lamar told the team not to shake hands. Looked to me like they went to the bench during the JC celebration and didn't see the JC players when they lined up.

Take up for larmar now. Why didn't you say that on your first post. Iknow you just thought of it.

  12. Yeah I saw all the games. Don't think it's a big deal. They just lost to a team for the 5th time in controversial fashion, I probably wouldn't be in the mood to shake hands either. I agree with you that I doubt JC will lose any sleep over the event.

What was controversal about it. Looked like a good win to me and most other people that i heard talking. So you don't think thats bad sportsmanship. If you loose then its ok to ack that way.

  13. How can you shake hands with a team rushing the floor because they just won state? I dont think not getting to shake the CR players hands is gonna hurt the JC players feelings any

There is some body else running off at the mouth when you dont know what your talking about. JC had their players lined up and ready. Didn't ask for your coment ask if anyone knew why they didn.t shake hands. jC probally could care less if thats the way he wants to act.

  14. Just wondering why Larmar made his girls sit down last night and wouldn't let them shake hands with JC coaches and players. Thats what you call poor sportsmanship right. Really something to teach your kids. Winning isn't everything, but i guess it is to him. I use to think he was a good coach but not anymore.

  15. Who will take it....

If these 2 had split during the year, and the tournament., this would be exciting. However, it is 4 to nothing JC...Is it right for them to have to go 5-0 to win the gold ball. IF they go 4-1, they are runners-up and Clarkrange is state champion.

I love to see district rivals play each other for all the marbles, but most time, they have both beaten each other....

    Good luck to Phil Jackson....

    All the gold

    In Jackson Co

    Is in a bank

    .......

And Jim Brown owns the bank.
