  1. For one I am not a fan for either team I am just a fan of high school basketball and you are right that it was a very well played game by both teams I have nothing negative to say about either of them. I just think that something needs to be done about the coach for the rebels because if it wasn't for the heart and determination that the players had it wouldn't have even been close.
  2. As a fan of High School Basketball I have to ask the question what is the coach of the Stewart County Rebels Varsity thinking? In the last few games I have watched it seems that he doesn't know what kind of talent he has on his team. Tonight in the Rebels Vs. Cubs basketball game Stewart County's coach lost the game for them and that has been the case for all the games that they have lost. Tonight the rebels were tied in over time 50 to 50 with 1 minute left and instead of trying to go for the ball and make the cubs have to earn their points he had his team stand still till until there was only 12 seconds left in the game. When he finally allowed his team to move towards the ball the cubs already had a player with the ball standing at the 3 point line as soon as the rebels moved the player shot and made the 3 pointer and that left the Rebels with 3.2 seconds to in-bound the ball and try to make a 3. I don't understand why this guy doesn't let his team play. The rebels have some of the best talent in their district and they dont even get the chance to show it because their coach won't let them. I know i'm not the only one that feels this way beacuse I heard many of the parents and fans saying the same things I am throughout the whole game. In my opinion Cheatam County Cubs best player tonight was the Rebels Head Coach. On a different note at the game tonight I witnessed some of the worst sportsmanship from the Cubs fans and students, in particular one of the cheatam county students ran over to the stewart county students and was making obscene gestures toward them. This is the school that is supposed to host the District Tournament and they act like animals. If I was coach a team in that district I would have to think twice about letting my team compete in that tournament. Think about it what kind of example is that setting for younger students that are coming up. Well i'm done with my rant and I would love to hear some reply to this and find out how everyone else feels.
