  1. goodpasture is a very good team, but you also have to take into consideration stone who has never met with goodpasture and is a 1st year school, these two teams will meet in semifinals if both continue to win, it will be a great game and im interested in seeing the results!! i personally think stone can pull off the win and go all the way!! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  2. Well for one thing, i have seen those exact words about kingston's come from behind win in the district posted on coacht befor by a kingston fan/player so maybe you should learn the whole story before you speak up.. for another sballfan was not degrading anyone on kingstons team just so you know stone hasnt had it easy this year either bud, the senior catcher that was supposed to follow the team over to stone lost her chance to play after having shoulder surgery, oh and guess what stones catcher is a freshman too.. stones pitcher has also suffered many injuries through the season that she continues to play through.. another senior player on the team broke her ankle sliding into home plate early in the season and hasnt been back since.. and they lost their head coach that was supposed to follow them from CCHS, hmm sound familiar??? but you don't hear them complaining about it!!! so i suggest that you sit down and shut up.. no one was trying to degrade anyone.. but hearing about how kingston is going to come back for a district win IS getting old!!
  3. Many people don't stop to think how all this bitterness affects the student athletes. Most of us did not have a choice of where we play ball. We are hard zoned. The only ones with a choice were the seniors who were zoned for SMHS. Most seniors decided to stay at CCHS. We have a senior class of only 93 this year at SMHS. It's bad when you go out on the field or court and are ridiculed by the same fans who cheered you last year. Most of us have remained friends with our former teammates; it's the parents and other adults who have turned us into bitter rivals. Just shut up and leave us alone! The athletes have, for the most part, acted more mature than the adults in the county. If Unreal21 is having sour grapes then that's his/her problem and can just stew in their own ulcer juices. It's not worth it. As for the athletes in this county, we will continue to do what we love; play ball.
  4. Well said! /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />
  5. i agree buc1973. Stone is a brand new school and wasnt in AAA last year. However, most of this years team played for last years district 5AAA champions. So, Unreal21 how can you say that they moved to AA to make things easier for themselves? They obviously handled things beautifully in AAA.
  6. i did not mean to sound like i was saying seymore put up any sort of challenge to stone, stone at times struggled to create more runs off of seymores pitcher, three innings in a row the had bases loaded and couldn't bring them in, stone had no problem putting seymore away though
  7. There where many teams in andersons region and district that attended, but the team that stuck out to me was Stone Memorial, being a first year school they looked extremley good they shut out both fulton and seymore
  8. I was there, from the few games that i saw anderson was looking pretty rough, fulton looked ok, seymore was strong, stone was looking very good for a first year school there's no doubt that they will go far this year
