I agree and I don't want to start anything I'm just wondering if the coach is playing the right guys? And your right real game I'm glad coaches and players don't listen to this stuff or if they do they used it as fuel to get up for this game. Big game in Dickson CO. on Tuesday! We need all the Red in the stands that can make the pilgrimage. Go Big Red!!!!!!!!

Well Henry County may be over rated but they beat the best tonight! Good job to the coaches and the players. They played their hearts out!!

Northeast has a nice team. They've got a go to guy in Walker and some really nice role players. But as this season has shown anyone can be beat. Henry County needs to play with confidence and poise. If we could hit some shots early and play good defense we have a shot. I'm hoping the soph post player that erupted for 16 the other night can build on that because having another legitimate scoring presence will help Etheridge keep from being double teamed. I"d love to see Teague and Bug get their shooting stroke back. I have liked though the last two games where Bug has really attacked the basket. I thought his best game of the season was the Rossview game at home the other night. He really attacked the rim. I think we will continue to see more play from the two soph guards which is only a good thing in terms of the future. We really need to win 2 of our last three games to keep our position in the standings and probably be pitted again against Dickson. Tuesday night will be a huge game. Well from a historical point of view it would be cool to see NE to start to finish, plus with guys like Randy trying to clean his act up and Wes Welker(the little train that could) it would be nice to see them win one. On the other hand the Giants have been whipping boys all year with locker room problems and people downing the coach and Eli's will to win. So it would be nice for them to win and make their doubters eat crow. So that would be nice too. Also Manning's going back to back would be neat. I really think the Patriots are too good and in a warm weather venue Randy will get it going again so I'm picking the Pats, but would not be surprised if the Giants kept it close and win. I believe it will have to be close for the Giants to have a chance.

Listen I've watched Coach the last two years work and haven't always agreed with everything single thing he's done, but I agree with 95% and it really doesn't matter because it's his team. He has a system that if a player works hard enough they can move their way into the line up. We have seen that this year with the emergence of 2 soph guards getting playing time. Tues night we saw the emergence of a soph post player that coach has ridden all year by his own accounts in the PI. His philosophy is one that made America great. He will not give you anything that you don't work for and earn. We give our kids today way too much and they don't learn the lesson of responsibility and work ethic. Here is a link to another great player that nothing was given to and instead of crying and complaining took it to heart and worked harder. I hope the link works because it is a great lesson on the power of hard work and dedication. I feel that we as fans and parents even when the coach doesn't have "our" rotation in or play the guys that we think should play we need to encourage those players to work harder because that is the bigger lesson in the big picture. We have a solid group coming back next year and can make some noise in the next few years if we will support our coach and players. I hope we don't treat our marriages like our coaches because if we bail on someone or our wife every time we get mad no body would ever stay married. Have a good day and I hope you enjoy the link. You are right on one front. WWJD What would Jesus do? You are right although I think your opinions are short sighted and definitely not objective. Sometime a little nasty especially since the coach nor the staff can rebut any of this I should not retaliate in the same manner and for that I apologize if I have negatively bashed you the person but I do not apologize for the comments toward the opinion.

If you weren't resorting to negativism toward the program I may could stay rational. But I"m not saying anything that I would not say to your face if you were sitting here. I"m not trying to be confrontational I just don't get negative posts that your obviously won't go to the coach about and say to his face! But I'm biased I coached little league and got the same treatment and it really bothers me to be stabbed in the back I'd rather you just stick in my belly.

Well either your a parent, player, or a family member who cannot be objective. Maybe you should go become a fan of some other team because we don't need ya. Also if a soph doesn't want to stay and enjoy the ride to success and their heart isn't in it. Then they should leave. But I"d say that about any person in any job. You gotta love what your doing or you'll be miserable! Sorry you are so miserable.

Cat I know your trying to pull my chain, but were you at the game? You've got to respect Caldwell in the lane and we had 2-3 guys in help . They would kick to corner and then skip pass across the court to the weakside and catch and shoot. Defenders ran to get to the shooter ,sometimes with a hand in the face and Baggett just drained shots. Maybe we were a tad slow, I don't have access to instant replay or the video but C'ville is good. Can they be beat. Yes. But any team would have to have a great night and a let down from them and that did not happen last night!

I just checked we were 13-18 that season and we in fact did lose by 10 in championship. But it was much more early in the game. Bug I"ve heard is getting some looks but with college recruiting it's not official until they sign, I hope he does it would be great for him. He seems to be a good guy. We did make it to the Dist Championship but with a 13-18 record. It could happen that way for us this year. Thats all I"m saying!

Yeah I went to those games. We had some dramatic wins. Believe we beat Dickson at their place. T. Fridy dunked in someones face. It was a decent season but not what I would call the greatest in HC history. Nodisrespect

Someone brought the fact up earlier that the football team has benfitted greatly from dropping to 4a. Also last year the football team I think 5-6 players on college rosters. I figure they'll put 3-4 this year and next year a couple more. Who is playing college basketball on our team?

I agree with that statement, but the view from the parents was that he was not being good to their kids by mocking the accomplishment.

When was this? What year. The last time HC was even close to winning district was when Tom Weeks was here and I think that was 99 or 2000? not quite sure on that but we lost three straight late and came in 2nd. Oh and people run him out of town too! He was an alright guy but was not rehired because of poor moral judgements.

When they hired Gaddis didn't they talk about his record at other schools? When I watch Sports center and they talk about trying to hire Bill Parcells in Miami don't they always talk about this track record. I agree that his record does not help today, obviously. But, a record over time can show if a coach is successful and its obvious that he was successful in the past. He can be successful if people like you although free to speak your mind would not try to push some hidden agenda for the betterment of your own selfish gain

Dickson is third and beat us on a last second shot. Rossview the second time was close (4pts) Kenwood was close but I can't remember the final so we are not that far. I think the boys are playing hard and the coach is working even harder. This summer people were complaining because they were in the gym too much and now because of the recent losing streak he's a bum. Same goes for Eli Manning early he's a bum and now he's got ice water in his veins. How quickly people will turn on you! Coach wants to win worse than you!!! I don't believe any coach puts his time and effort into their craft to lose. Agree with ya WEST TN!!!

Well honestly I don't remember the final score but I remember their press killing us and our pg had at least 20 turnovers by himself. But he was a young Soph at the time and I understand kids make those kinds of mistakes. But remember people were on Emerson to because when he won 6th place trophy in the Calloway Christmas tourney he went into the locker room and broke it up against the wall which caused a major ruckus with the parents.
