Will THS be able to do the same things they did last year? Can they have the same success?

Greenville's QB now Jordan Greenway, his brother was taken from this world way to early. Chase was a great person an one heck of an athlete. Everyone that knew him had nothing but good things to say about him. Im not sure if i should say much more out of respect so im not going to.

I'm sorry Johnny Sportsmanship, I didn't realize that NO ONE else in the conference has EVER thrown an elbow, or had a hard foul to prevent an easy two. Your generalizations are problematic. If you or your team have never committed any of these 'dirty' tricks maybe you haven't wanted to win bad enough. 1) I never said that teams dont do it occasionaly, but they do not resort to it as the only way of winning. And yes I believe that other teams do want to win bad. Look at THS.

I don't think physical play is dirty play. If that is the case, Bruce Pearl is the dirtiest coach in the nation. Physical play, hustle, and 100% effort is not dirty play. You all are just longing for the days that you could mark down the Volunteer game as a win, but now you have to earn it. You ascinine people that think Hawkins County is such a hick place are really delusional or have an overinflated sense of self-worth. I know the rest of the Tri-Cities area is such a bustling metropolis comperable to any other major metropolitan area in the nation such as NYC, LA, and Chicago. OK. Real ball is what all of the other teams in the conference play. Our game plan doesnt include things such as, elbows to the face, taking legs out, shoving in the back on a lay-up, tripping because you all arent fast enough to keep up with the game. Real ball is showing hustle, emotion, FAIR PLAY. If you get beat to the basket and have no way to block it then just let it go. I graduated last year, an i doubt anyone from Greeneville has ever heard of your kid an i am willing to bet the house that any any kids dad that gets on hear an talks out of his @ss would be embarrassed of him. All your doing is making your family look bad an your self look worse.

Actually KEVIN. His son is probably the best all around athlete at THS. Not only is he going to be the best basketball player in Northeast Tennessee this year but he will be the best football player in Northeast Tennessee next year. His son is the real deal. You sound to me like the weakling on the beach that gets sand kicked in your face. Work hard, get in the weight room and do something about it. Quit complaining on a message board. Once again, comfront the coach in person if you are so concerned. I know for a FACT that intentionally hurting someone is not taught. The different level you speak about will very well be different.

Nobody is selling Volunteer short of anything. You all have a decent team, and if you all played anyone in the conference EXCEPT THS and or South, you all would see the second round. THS is just too much for Volunteer to handle. I expect to see THS win by 14+

Volunteer...I really thought you had what it takes in the pre-season. You played smashmouth football, had hard core D and could throw the ball. I wonder what went wrong. You had all the parts. From the outside it seems attitude (or a lack of) destroyed you. Anything is possible on any given Friday.

Now come on. you know that in order for you all to get to South, you have to get through the DEFENSE of THS. not many people have done that to success this year. Last time i checked they are only giving up 8 points a game.

THS by 14+. Volunteer isnt any better than they were when THS put them out last year. I dont see them upsetting anyone this year

I can assure you that THS and South arent worreid about anything except winning. They are going to come to play this weeked and THS will beat Volunteer and South will beat Mo East. Then we get to send a second 5 Rivers team home in Greeneville. And South will beat Mo West after that. Then comes the game that everyone (except the 5 Rivers fans) knew was coming. Another rematch between THS and South with neutral refs. Sorry boys

Well unless you have the 04' teams there Friday night playing that info does nothing. If it didn't happen this year then how is that going to help this years team? They are right i am not on the team (anymore). I did my time there it was not all 4 years but if you knew the circumstances you would feel like an even bigger dirt bag then you already are. I have done some thing on a football field that %95 of the people on this website could not do, weather there skill or heart would not allow them to do.

Greeneville will lose. Im sorry and Im not trying to be an a hole but that is just the way it is. They will prpbably beat east. But then they will lose to THS im sorry. They can not take on the THS defense. The only reason South did is because they have Phillips. Your offense might be ok but so is ours. We have three guys that can easily go over a hundred yards a game and one of them has gone for over two hundred in his two of the last three. This will be a game of defense with THS coming out on top
