I forgot about the game aganist MTCS at the TOURNMENT HE IS THE ONE TO BLAME FOR THAT LOSS. HE BLEW IT. The losing PERCENTAGE is BASED on WINNING 14 GAMES A YEAR. That would make HIS RECORD 98-112. The coach is the problem. I agree that the player needs to MOTIVATE themselves and be a better person and player. I went to alot of games this year what i seen was a TEAM that was out of SHAPE. But let's also look at different things other than being in SHAPE. If u went to the SEQ. COUNTY GAME that was not the PLAYERS fault. That was BAD, BAD COACHING that is the only way u can put it. We got beat by at least 40 POINTS. We barley beat CASCADE and they ain't got NOTHING. MONTERY hasn't got anything and they beat us. Got beat by COMMUNITY they didn't even PLACE in the TOURNMENT. HE lacks DISIPLINE. THAT IS WHY SOME PLAYERS DO WHAT THEY DO ON THE BALL COURT. THEY know HE will do NOTHING. OUR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TEAM CANNOT PASS A BASKETBALL. THEY LACK THE SIMPLE FUNDAMENTALS OF THE GAME. Just borrow somes tapes from SCHOOL and watch. BASKETBALL IS A TEAM SPORT. THE problem with this TEAM is the COACH. YOU CAN AGREE OR DISAGREE. Snoopy U R WRONG. Cascade put us out LAST YEAR. MTCS ALSO WAS PUT OUT BY COMMUNITY THAT IS WHY THEY FIRED THEIR COACH AND HIRED A NEW ONE. SNOOPY did u know that they went to SUB-STATE THIS YEAR. NEITHER US NOR MTCS GOT OUT OF THE FIRST ROUND LAST YEAR. I think i am right 99 SEASON was the LAST 20 SEASON. wE HAVE HAD THE SAME COACH FOR 7 OR 8 YEARS i think that is right. WHY did it take so LONG for us to get back to that. THE TALENT has ALWAYS been there over these past 7or 8 YEARS. THEN all of the sudden her comes AMY RUSSELL in to VOUUNTER HER TIME AND ABILITY. LOW AND BEHOLD look at what they did this year. IF U CAN'T SEE THE DIFFERENCE THEN I GUESS U R BLIND. SHE MOTIVATED THESE GIRLS AT EVERY GAME AND PRACTICE. Finally, Iknew their were more people felt the same way about her as i did. She would make an awesome ball coach. She has the desire and ability to do a great job. The girls love her to death she motivates them. That is why they did so great this year. This team is talented to go real far into the state next loaded with some great SOPHMORES and a SENIOR for next year. If we don't offer her the JOB some other school will pick her up to be their COACH. Let's go to the BOARD with this it is a great idea. WHERE IS THE PAPER I WILL SIGN IT. When is the next meeting. Hoopster u r wrong. 1985 REX SLATTON took the JR. HIGH Girls to the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME aganist YORK INST. the second loss only that year. ROGER SCOTT took the JR. HIGH boys to the championship game the next year and yes they won the JR. HIGH CHAMPIONSHIP. Neither team has been been given a banner that is a shame. Now back to the matter at hand. how do u know he isn't going anywhere i say he will stay at least two more years and coach one player. The two coaches i listed did noy put up with a bunch of cursing or trying to take some other girls head off. Disipline that is what he lacks lhe can't control these two girls well now just one. HOOPSTER if u want to see a coach go to PICKETT COUNTY when they play TEMPLE he will show u how to coach a game. You know we USED to have him at our SCHOOL but we could'nt hold him. No she is not from here does she have't to be no she does not. What is the difference from someone coaching the Elementary School without a degree and coaching the High School. If they want it to happen they will make it happen. They cannot pass a basketball their out of shape and a couple have behavior promblems. It is time that we make a change. I have talked to a school board member. She does not need a teachers degree to be coach. All i am saying it is time for a coach. I still would love to see the won lost record over the years he has been there. She is more qualified to this team than he is. She got a scholarship to play college ball. She would bring more discipline to this ball team. Our girls are very talented but they will always be playing for third or fourth place at toury time he chockes under pressure. Let's don't make the same mistake twice as we did four years. Post the records of wins and loses and how many times u won first second third or fourth place last year we got put out in the first round agaist Cascade. Talk to your board members and Director of Schools and let's get someone in there who knows what they are doing. We all know why he has the job anyway.

That is crazy. Giving someone cake a card or something of that nature. I have been watching VBC girls ball for many years. Binkley has been coach for some time now. I personally would like to see his won lost record and how many times he placed first,second,third, or third. We don't need to let this coach leave or school system. As we let the best coach to ever the doors at VBCHS GREG BIBB. Amy Russell needs to be coach of the Lady Eagles. Talk to your Director of Schools or the School Board let's get this rolling.

I don't know what game u have been watching. Why does he let it go on, I don't know. We need a coach who has control over his team. The difference between this team and years past AMY RUSSELL. She is more than qualified to be the next coach.

About the ER game friday night. I agree it is cheap shot basketball. When 21 gets showed up on the court she gets mad and takes it out on players. About the cursing she does that all the time. The coach WILL NOT do nothing to her. I am from VBC and I am not the only one who is sick and tired of this kind of attitude showed in public. IT'S time for a change.

We lost the MTCS game by bad coaching. Not foul shots. We need to get over losing this player life goes on play with what u got. As for coach of the year get real.
