1. QUOTE(dins8 @ May 13 2007 - 11:19 PM) 826458713What happened to him on Friday? Will he be back on Tuesday?

He got cleated in the thigh, hes been icing all weekend, so we will just have to see. Im sure he will play through being that he has had to sit out like 10 games already for injury.

  2. QUOTE(ihavenofriendzz @ May 13 2007 - 01:42 AM) 826458300I just thought I'd add this...

Harrison(GA) a team that Farragut tied 2-2 and CAK lost to 0-2, won the AAAAA state championship in Georgia. I just thought it'd help show how some Knox area teams stack up against Georgia's best.

Also Spring Valley( who Farragut beat 2-1) and Northwestern(who CBHS beat 2-1) are playing eachother in the South Carolina AAAA state championship Monday.

Dins keep making predictions your a baller.

  3. QUOTE(R.U.R. @ May 11 2007 - 11:23 PM) 826457683bearden, farragut, south doyle, maryville, sevier county, lenoir city, heritage, william blount. i think 2 from each team get it.

I dont think 2 from each get it. It all depends how you finished in your district. The higher up you get the more bids you get. (I THINK)

  4. QUOTE(NedNatterjack @ May 9 2007 - 10:55 PM) 826455970Congratulations to Karns! It's about time someone came in and threw a kink in to at least one of the districts in this region. We're still waiting on someone to derail Farragut or Bearden in the other district. What kind of team is Karns? I've never seen them play, but I've been following their progress. Don't they have a new coach or relatively new coach? But whatever it is, it seems to be working. Keep it up!

Their coach is Mike McLean, he is the coach of the u18 Impact

  5. QUOTE(ValverdeTDF07 @ May 8 2007 - 08:54 PM) 826454779when will those games be played?

Should all be on Wednesday, I know Farragut is at 7. Im assuming the rest are 6:30-7

  6. QUOTE(ihavenofriendzz @ May 7 2007 - 09:00 PM) 826453812I heard they played a 10minute 2nd half... Is this true?

Yea it might have been 15, but only 2 or 3 startes played.

  7. QUOTE(ihavenofriendzz @ Apr 24 2007 - 08:39 PM) 826444380EDIT: I'm a little confused on why South Doyle plays 7 district games but Bearden only plays 5 and Farragut only plays 6. I think it is an advantage for the teams who play less games. I dunno. It just seems weird to me.

Heritage forfeited to Farragut, William Blount and Heritage forfieted to Bearden, but both Heritage and William Blount of them play South Doyle.

  8. QUOTE(soccerplayr @ Apr 20 2007 - 03:49 PM) 826441963no i dont care what the situation is there is no reason to put up a 14 goal lead in a game. show some class and love for the game things like that only make ppl wish they hadnt played soccer.

well its kinda a lose lose situation, because last year we were up at half 10-0 with heritage and just passed the ball around for 40 minutes in the second half. they touched the ball maybe 2 times and they said they would rather us win 30-0 than do that because it was so embarrasing. So you all that say we are "classless" come up with a way to make both sides happy. maybe a slaughter rule?

  9. QUOTE(NedNatterjack @ Apr 20 2007 - 12:08 PM) 826441804I think a 16-0 win is ridiculous. Couldn't Farragut have done something to keep this under control?

Farragut was playing with 9 people by the end of the game, and the starters only played about 15 a half.

Not much better but it was only 14

  10. QUOTE(ihavenofriendzz @ Apr 16 2007 - 08:55 PM) 826438869Ok. Update. Farragut wins 2-0. I don't know what D played for Farragut. I do know that apparently 1 Farragut player was knocked out and a Maryville player broke his collarbone. I'm not sure if they were on the same play. But total for the game there was about an hour in delays. I believe both left on stretchers but not sure.

Farraguts defensive subs played again, Maryville player rebroke his collar bone on a fall to the ground and an ambulance came. Farragut's Drew Hemiter got knocked out cold and an ambulance came again to get him by an extrememly dirty undercut that should have been a red card, but instead the ref gives one to Farragut for talking back on a different play. Farragut scored from a throw from Backstrom to Russell who headed it in in the first 10 and then Backstrom played a ball across to a wide open Russell who scored with about 10 to go.

  11. QUOTE(BlackmanSoccerDad @ Apr 16 2007 - 03:50 PM) 826438709I think soccer would benefit in a rule change of having no ties. Just liket he NHL, could do two 5 minute overtime, then go directly to PK's. I think it would be exciting, especailly in High School Soccer. It would give an opportunity for goal keepers and teams to practice PK's. Thoughts?

    Yes no more ties
