QUOTE(pseudophobia @ Mar 14 2007 - 07:37 AM) 826411145Clearly the hardest, and most effective player on Farraguts team is that #15 Robert Fischer, that kid busts his butt on every play! Why has no one mentioned him?? I see nothing special about the other forwards. It is tough to tell about the defense, but their keeper made a fantastic save early in the second half. Without that play, the shut-out doesn't happen!
Robert is a very effective player, he has the best work rate of anyone on the team, but to say the other forwards were not any good is probably the dumbest comment made on coacht ever... Ben Backstrom is the other forward and he left the game with 3 goals and 3 assists... Still think thats nothing special? You need to quit hatin on Farragut sayin we can only score on set plays...but they were clicking that day.
-
Never judged his character, just sayin Carter plays and extremely weak schedule, I would like for them to play a solid team like CAK Catholic Farragut or Bearden and see how well he does.
-
-
Anyone know how Bearden did this past weekend vs. Pope John Paul?

-
I don't know if he is starting, but I am sure he is getting playing time. I haven't had a chance to see West play yet, but they should have a good team this year.
He didnt start in the Jamboree, but he played bout 20 of the 30 minutes

A 5 year old girl could have 43 goals with the teams Carter plays. Lemme see them play someone decent and I'll start believing

QUOTE(lcdefence @ Mar 11 2007 - 06:05 PM) 826408229Coach Martin is still here and so is Quinten, the alumni assistant coach, is there too. But Coach Martin wanted another head coach that knew alot about the game so we now have John Lavin as our coach too. He played and coached in England professionaly and has the highest coaching certification from England. He came over here many years ago and coached University level soccer. Over the last few years he has coached my old competitive team (KFC Fusion) as well as some other teams. Coach Lavin hasn't been to any of the scrimmages yet other than our alumni game, so you wouldn't have seen him yet.
I agree, the second goal scored in the Catholic scrimmage probably was carried by the wind some because it was shot around the half line. It was a nice, lucky goal scored by Mitch.
Does anyone know who scored the one goal against Farragut in their scrimmage against Catholic? Was it Ricardo?
Yes he did, the ball deflected right infront of him inside the six... He does have some good feet though

QUOTE(Tin-Man @ Mar 9 2007 - 08:03 AM) 826405863maybe they turned you down for your lack of spelling. "oppertunities"? haha just a joke.
i was thinking about what team you might play for, having only one state ring from Knoxville through a four year time, and came up with that you are a senior at Farragut.
which means that you were a freshman when they won state,
ouch old memories, that was the year i played at Oak Ridge, and we got beat 5-0 in the state finals.
but if you were on that team, you didn't see the field if you were a freshman, and hence got a state ring for sitting on a bench
so if you are a senior at Farragut, and have 2 gold metals for state, that means you are probably on the Impact (89?), which is a really good team, so that means i must know you, but i did not recognize your picture.
so did i get it right?
(all this is based upon one's brilliant mind, but since there are no set facts to base it upon, it is still under investigation)
Well I got the ring, and I did get on the field because Farragut was absolutely dominating Oak Ridge... Where is your ring though? Oh that right you dont have one any you never will. Also I turned down the colleges, because Im gettin burnt out. Nice guess though on who this is, sounds right to me.

I have a state ring and 2 gold metals for club, but turned down my oppertunities for college soccer. But good try...

QUOTE(BigG @ Mar 7 2007 - 09:21 PM) 826404120Sounds like it was a good one! To be honest, I totally forgot you guys were playing tonight, otherwise I would have been over there. You guys are going to make some noise in your district this season!!! We ended our pre-season with Oak Ridge last night. They have an awesome facility!
How did Oak Ridge look, and the score?

QUOTE(Ezion @ Mar 7 2007 - 04:12 PM) 8264037841. he's not in high school he is playing in college and is a starter, something you probably won't ever be.
2. yep, he played there for one year and he got all-state, was nominated for gatorade player of the year, was texas roadhouse athlete of the week... i could list more, but i think this gets my point across.
3. considering we beat you guys and won state by your own claims no one on your team is any good at all.
4. once again he is playing in college so obviously he is doing something with his life.
ss55 i got a great idea for you... just stop and think every now and then because you say some pretty dumb stuff.
You are dirty, go cut your hair and take a shower

yea he cheap shots all the time... its rather ridiculous... he should get thrown out of half the games he plays in
-
Your a loser....
You should only be a coach t if your a high school player or a high school coach.... you have no life tin man...

Is Bearden still playing the same system as last year? and also who are their starting mids, Im wondering if Radcliffe and Cesar are still looking good this season.
-
Knoxville keepers you think of Bryan Walker and Joey DeRosa, but Adam Greene from Farragut is a great keeper. He may not have the best foot skills, but I have seen tons of amazing saves from him. I would take him over the two any day.
-
Farragut has a very solid D with returning all but one starter.
Nic Paolucci (all state last year)
Joseph Muth (all region last year)
Mitchell Ishmael and Tyler Mottern (both start on u17 d1 state champs KFC Arsenal)
I hear that Bearden has a solid D too. If you know the starters lemme know.

QUOTE(pseudophobia @ Feb 26 2007 - 08:28 PM) 826390557Thanks for the reply "on the pitch"....here's one for you.
What does signing with a division 1 school have to do with the season coming up? That is the future, and the future for those kids is that they go to that school and never set foot on the field. If you want a better look....look at the past history- something you KNOW happened. I will start with my original question- What makes them the best offensive team in the state? Here are the fact from last year:
I will compare them to Bearden.
Farragut record ..17-6-6 goals scored -69 opp. goals- 44
Bearden record...18-5-3 goals scored-64 opp. goals- 21
Not counting head to head games (Farragut 2-1 ....goals 5 each) they each played 8 other teams ranked in the top 12 in the state.
Farragut record 2-4-2 goals 8 opp. 12. Bearden record 4-3-1 goals 11 opp. 11
Not the offensive powerhouse you imagined????
Me either.
How bout that was last year... your looking at a different Farragut team and a different Bearden team. And by the way Ben and Jake both have a chance of starting their freshmen years at the D1 schools they are going to. looks like you are a little upset that you cant even get on a D3 team... sorry bud better luck next year
