you guys are spot on they were the absolute worst i've ever seen but they were bad both ways. the crap before the half then the illeagal block in the back on Maryville's defence. BTW they were from johnson city i feel sorry for the teams up there if this is the best they have to officiate a ball game. to the west rebels gutsy ball game you guys have some great athletes and you have some that just gut it out and thats a good combonation. anyway i'll take the win but it was ugly and not because of the way the kids played just because the way the refs made them selves the focul point of the game

you know we had a powder puff game between the sophs& juniors vs the seniors when i was in school and ended up with a fight and a broken jaw so as fun as this sounds in the planning stages i think it would be best to forgo theese games unless you want to put pads on them.

Once again papa well said besides the final score the most important stat is " I think the final score will look closer than the game actually is". with few execeptions it has been that way all year. GQ likes to get the youngsters quality playing time, sometimes it skews the scoreboard into not being a true reflection of what happened on the field the first 3qtrs.

i have not seen RB this year but they are going to have a fight on there hands they better have the chin straps buckled or they will have an early exit. RB fans how does this years team compare to last years?

as a Maryville fan i would rather play Red Bank than have to play Halls again, it's hard to beat a good team twice in the same year.

You are right Maryville does not play on emotion and that is by design, GQ believes if you get so high then at somepoint you will get that low also and he dosn't want his kids to pay that way. he wants them to go out and take care of the business at hand in a workman like manner. may teams have scored early on the rebels, but that may be the only score they have or at least until its already been decided. so as a rebels fan i hope RCHS comes out high as a kite and scores first cause i'll bet ya a dollar to a doughnut they can't mantain that momentum for 4 qtrs.

63 I don't think GQ would hang 63 on anyone he has way too much class however your assessment of the MHSvCHS last week was spot on. Central had way too many turnovers to win that one. but you said they would before the game. you are also right about Burnette something just a little off with his execution.

Fact means something that is true or certain, so maybe just maybe you are having trouble with a words definition!! where is it fact that MHS is 5A just because the TSSAA hasn't realigned quick enough for you don't mean they are 5A however in 2009 when they do realign Maryville will move up and maybe central won't and then you can stop your whinning or obsessing or whatever you want to call it and be competitive in your region again.
