Ok first of all no one in Maryville has ever won an imaginary football game! You know that! Now I have no idea why they are not playing but the fact remains that this eighth grade class owns Alcoa’s and will unless the tornadoes change that next year as freshmen. We will have to wait nd see I guess.

This group of middle school Tornadoes has never tasted anything but defeat from this group of middle school Rebels. From the time this group of 8th graders were 7 which is when they start playing football they have never been beaten by Alcoa! So I’m guessing they are not scared to play

From what I hear it starts way before high school! This goes all the way down to the grasshoppers. They even hired a former UT tailback to help coach 7-8 year olds!!

What I don’t understand is how they get away with it? And when does it start? 7&8 year olds? I’ve watched a lot of youth football in the past 5-6 years and I can tell you at 7 years old they get a piece of the playbook and by the time they are 12 they know 80% of it. Heck GQ knew all the kids by name. Now I’m not sure if DH knows all of them or had any part in them playing for the Rebels youth teams but something is fishy! I’m with you pp this is just crazy! Do the parents of these “recruits” move to Maryville or do they just “ pay” tuition? I’ve heard there are jobs available for the right studs dad.

BHS you're about half right! She is a pretty lady but definitely not in the background and she is a players mom but not a coaches wife. She also helps keep the pipelines full from about K-7th grade. You might say she knows which ones parents possibly need better garbage service even before Starz does!!
