No one really talked about this game, I'm guessing because no one thought it would be a game at all. So I would just like to say I'm proud of Cosby for playing for a full game, I didn't expect us to be only down 5 going into the 4th and I'm sure Coalfield didn't either. I wish the guys would've played this way all season because it was what they were truly capable of. Proud of the Eagles.

We will have to outscore them like every week, because defensively we don't wrap up and make stops. I don't see us stopping them and we may have a difficult time moving the ball at all. They are not a good team at their level but they played with Coalfield in their game, so we are a big underdog to me. We have the ability to win games, but we haven't put together a full game all year...hope that changes.

I believe it. Their two scores on us were on two big plays never drove the ball or had any offensive movement. Was shocked when heard the score at the half, but me and my brother both said it won't be that way long haha Hampton ain't gonna let them get this one.

He should, may be biased, but we're content trying to be the Packers. Small school football starts with the run if you don't run it you usually don't win. We had a couple big plays with the screens and other passes as well, but can't give away the ball five times and expect a win. Rone is strong and hard to bring down if he gets a head of steam, I know he can push more weights than I ever did and I was a pretty strong lineman haha..first half we were terrible came out nonchalant, not sure if we had already given up or thought we had it in the bag, second half was much better getting after it but we still have yet to put a full game in of going wide open and it's really sad to me honestly. Hope we didn't lose Norris 70 as well, didn't look good that they made him lay on the board so he didn't put any weight on it at all.

I'll be there hoping for a Cosby victory, but at the very least a good game.

Hampton 42-3...NG gets a big play but settles and makes a FG haha..They do have a pretty good kicker as well as defense, just won't be enough. Really just a joke I have no idea how this one will go other than Hampton will win, it could be a little closer than most think but Hampton will score more than NG easily.

I don't pay much attention to game scores so much the only way to know how each game really went is to be at the game if it's not a complete blowout, 28-14 looks like a close game to me with most likely a late score or two, which NG is very bad for I have noticed, but I wasn't there haha. It really isn't about scoring, North Greene scored one more point against Unaka but still lost to West Greene? See what I'm saying? Numbers like that aren't very telling to me, I am just going to wait and come Friday watch you guys lay it on us.

Never said you guys were...just that I don't see them being held to one score this game. That's all no reason to get upset about it, nothing matters until they play the game haha

Yep was all on their starters...they went up by the final score with about 2 minutes left and the young guys got put in on both sides. We were leading 10-7 fIrst quarter but our defense just couldn't make enough stops to hold it. We will have to see but I just don't think cloudlands defense is at the level Hampton or north greene..if north greene had a decent offense they would be in it with Hampton this week in a real close one I think...but Hampton will capitalize on their many mistakes I would say. I think you will be surprised at just how good their defense is when you play them, I know it surprised me. Especially with how many mistakes they make offensively, we will have to just agree to disagree until Friday haha

I think this will be a good game as always, hope Cloudland got out unscathed last week. Cosby looked good offensively for the first time all season Friday, against a much bigger CD team. Defense still has ways to go, obviously, but I don't see Cloudland stopping us the way that Hampton and North Greene did. If we don't beat ourselves and quit talking to refs and getting dumb personal foul penalties this will be a good game.

Their corners are easily beaten downfield when they use that D, surprised they used it on us. Burnt them a bunch but only made a couple catches, so I'm sure they didn't mind, and if O-line can't hold blocks long enough their front 4 can get good penetration so doesn't matter if they get beat deep. I don't know if they were tired at the end or what, but defensively they seemed tired near the end of the game and that's when we scored on a couple big runs and a pass TD to make it 9-7. They got the ball we loaded up the box to get a 4th down stop, though, and their FB got a hole and took it on in. Missed the PAT though (didn't look like it missed, but didn't matter anyway), so we still had a chance for a tie with a few minutes left..but that ended quick.

15-7 North Greene...Cosby had all the chances in the world at least 4 fumble recoveries and an interception only one score...was 9-0 almost entire game after giving up a safety. Things are pretty clear now I would say in the region it will be between Hampton and cloudland...North Greene can't move the ball on offense for nothing. You can't have that many turnovers and not get any points off of them simple as that.

True..I don't know if he just doesn't want to play or coaches don't want to risk him getting injured..he is an athlete and would make plays for us defensively that's for sure.

They don't run the triple option anymore? Or is it not very effective?

Anybody have any input on this one? I think it is important for Cosby to get a good win here to be able to finish the season strong in the region. If not, some of the upper classification games could get very ugly fast coming up as well as the Coalfield game. Neither team has yet to beat a quality team, but I think that Cosby will get their first region win and hopefully play with more heart and pride throughout the season.
