  6. The Tennessee A-Game Basketball Club will host another open gym on Sunday Feb 15, 2009. The session will be conducted from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Sunday afternoon. Group and individual instruction will be provided by veteran Tennessee A-Game coaches. AAU National Championship coaches and long time Tennessee Maverick Directors Mikki Allen and Jeff McGruder will lead the instruction team. The 10 &11 year old boys open gym times will be from 4:00pm-5:30pm. The 12&13 year open gym times will start immediately afterwards from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. Through the years this popular clinic has attracted significant participation and will include 4th -7th grade boys, with a variet y of existing basketball experience. Each segment of the clinic will be specifically designed to evaluate area talent to fill roster spots available for the Tennesseee A-Game AAU Youth Basketball team. The Tennessee A-Game clinic will be conducted in Franklin, TN at A-Game Sportsplex (216 Gothic Court Franklin, TN 37067). The structure will be one hour of basketball skill and game instruction, and one hour of open gym. Various drills will be administered to all participants to help improve every level of play. The knowledge and confidence produced by participation in these clinics has provided the basis for amazing on-court success, according to players and parents alike. Whether you have ever competed in organized basketball at any level or not, there are opportunities for you to learn about the game and to identify exercises and drills to help you improve your competitive ability.
