Hampton wins this one. Madison didn't so much "turn it on" yesterday, so much as the other team "turned it off". I think that Hampton wins, but the second best A team will be determined today (Friday) with OS and Clarkrange. Hampton will finish second to which ever team wins that game.

Could be right thug, we will find out in about an hour and a half! Best of luck to both teams, and whoever wins, may they go to Saturday and give a good showing for the so called "weak" side of the bracket! GO MUSTANGS!

How did Madison outscore Pickett like 35-15 in the second half then if they didnt look to hot? All I heard was how Pickett Co. would beat Madison, and Madison didnt stand a chance against 7A, who had the best 4 teams in the state, blah blah. I'm not saying Madison will beat Hampton but I'm also not saying Hampton will beat Madison. I think this will be a great game, that comes down to the wire, so all of you Hampton fans expecting a walk in the park, I have a feeling will be in for a surprise.

Also, back to that first point, I think not ONLY did Madison outscore Pickett in the second half, I'm pretty sure Morgan Faulkner outscore Pickett in the second half, BY HERSELF!

OK, Bradford had a right to complain about the referee's, the refs in that game really were bad. They were bad both ways, not just Bradford's way like the Bradford fans said though. This game, however, the refs did not have a say in the world as to who won this game. Madison played a better game TODAY and advanced to the final four of the state tournament. Pickett Co. may have more talent, may be a better team, blah blah blah, whatever. All that matters is, that Madison won the basketball game TODAY, on the floor, they BEAT Pickett Co. I don't know what Madison has to do to earn a little credit from some of the posters on here, but I sure tip my hat to them. Congrats to Madison on making the final four, and congrats to Pickett Co. on a great season.

I wouln't say the best two two teams are playing..Pickett Co was in the same district as Clarkrange and beat Jackson co and they just got beat by Madison by about 12 points..The 5th place team in 14A,Union City beat Madison by about 25 points this year..!

Not sure the score, but im listening to the JCM/RE game right now on the radio, and they said Liberty blew out Craigmont... RE is beating by JCM by 15 or so, late in the 4th... JCM's starting PG went down halfway through the first quarter with a knee injury

I was just told by somebody that went to the game Madison won 48-42. I have no other details on the game but if this is true, congrats to the Lady Mustangs for winning the district!
