1. QUOTE(volunteerfan23 @ Mar 29 2007 - 05:46 AM) 826425533The kid had two knee surgeries on the same knee, injured it when the knee cap came out of place and went back in while playing summer ball. Had his knee scoped before his last season and had no cartlidge and was trying to play. Then over last summer he had donor bone and cartlidge put in his knee. In a scrimmage before the season he injured the other knee only not as serious as the other. His doctor told him that he would have to have surgery again but he would wait until after the season to do it. He loves the game but just has not had any luck with the injury deal.

thank you for clearing that up

  2. QUOTE(gogreeneorgohome @ Mar 28 2007 - 01:50 PM) 826424951Dont make excuses. Greeneville just flat out hit the ball against him. Greeneville has a kid playing on varsity who is a pitcher/IF that had knee surgery this summer to replace the cartlidge in his knee and couldnt do any type of training from May to January, then had the same injury to his other knee in a preseason scrimmage. He is out there chugging along not making excuses. Excuses are like a butthole...everyone has them...

if this kid had an injury to one of his knees that kept him out seven months and then had THE SAME injury to his other knee in a scrimmage... how is he already back out there... please give me this kids name so i can shake his hand

  3. QUOTE(easygoing7 @ Mar 13 2007 - 08:40 AM) 826409986East and Cocke Co. meet tonight any predictions on the game?

east beat cocke 14-0... thanks for puttin me in my place frankenvol... i just got a little heated... what are the other scores from around the conference

  4. QUOTE(frankenvol @ Mar 9 2007 - 10:37 AM) 826406034Are the 'Canes playing their originally planned schedule, or did Altizer once again drop the games to which he didn't feel like traveling? Did the boys play any fall baseball? Every coach in the IMAC rejoiced when they found out that it'd be Altizer and not Rines this season.

don't worry about the canes... just worry about your team cause the canes will be fine

  5. QUOTE(frankenvol @ Mar 8 2007 - 12:20 PM) 826404713If I recall correctly, East also was the reg. season champ of that district last season, yet they failed to get out of the tourney. But forget all of that; it is obvious that you are right. East has had tremendous success since the firing of ex-head coach and current Carson Newman skipper Tom Griffin. He won a district championship (tourney-the one that counts) in his only year there, and I don't think it's been done since. Bow to the Trojans

wow... nothing new here, just another West fan that thinks their crap doesn't stink... you know frankenvol, it's people like you that make me ashamed to say I am from Morristown... all you kind of people ever talk about is how West is so much better that everybody else and that they're foing to win everything... guess what. You ain't good. It's time you come down off of your high horse and stop disrespecting everybody else and talking this big game because i know everybody is tired of hearing how great West is when every year, you're not that good. You can not back it up on the diamond... Until you can, be quiet and just play/watch baseball or whatever you do... and get your facts right before you talk smack cause you can't even do that well... Tom Griffin did not get fired, he simply liked coaching college ball better... beating West was just not enough of a challenge for him... oh congrats on the tournament last year... every blind squirrel finds a nut sooner or later

  6. QUOTE(lakeway man @ Feb 26 2007 - 09:49 PM) 826390806Id have to say west should be the favorite they have a good infield and plenty of pitching, east is talented but i heard morgan may not play?anybody know about greenville/

    Morgan is playing this year

  7. QUOTE(GREENEDEVILMOM @ Feb 19 2007 - 04:34 PM) 826379501Whats the outlook for the IMAC in 2007?

    1. Morristown East

    2. Morristown West

    3. Greeneville

    4. Cherokee

    5. Jeff County

    6. Cocke County

It will be tough for Morristown East to win the conference this year with a new coach again but they feel like they have something to prove and will be tough come tournament time. Morristown West will also be very good as they have key starters Logan Wild, Erik Hazelwood, and Austin Bridgewater who are all pretty good ball players. West will give East a run for it's money. After West, it pretty much falls off. All of the teams have gotten better (with the exception of Jeff County which lost a bunch of great senior leaders). Still though, the main competition will be between rivals East and West. Look for Greeneville to surprise a couple of people this year. It looks like they will be battling an improving Cherokee team for third place. As for Cocke County....... best of luck.
