Hi everyone. Just stopping by to put in my two cents in. As for the marching band at HC, well, it is not that they are horrible, it is that Mr. Majors doesn't allow much music to be played in the stands because it takes away from their playing ability when they go to perform halftime. I, however, don't exactly agree with that ideal. To make stronger musicians, you must stress their stamina and since he doesn't allow the band to crank out the tunes, well, it turns them into pansies. I would know. I am a music teacher/musician from Paris. I am also a HUGE football fan. I am at every game and will be throughout the playoffs.
As for Fairley's marching band, well, I give them credit for being loud and proud. Their music is always new, loud, and crowd pumping. But, their downfall is that their overall sound quality is horrible.
I can't wait till this Friday!!! Loud horns, Mad Crazy Fans, and now our new cannon that is firing after touchdowns. These games are truly an experience like nothing else on Friday nights. Also confirmed by my brother, one his friend's told him that his dad told him, a Paris Policeman, that Hank will be there!!!! GO PATRIOTS!!!
