Classifications don’t mean anything, two years ago the best team in the state was Single A.

I think Gleason can go a long way. It was a good game until half and then Gleason took over. Greenfield can beat Gleason at home if things fall right.
McKenzie is the best class A team in the state by a margin then you can lump 5-6 teams below them that could get hot and make a run. Gleason and Greenfield are two of those teams.
West Tennessee will win Class A this year.
Loretto and then Gibson County are my picks for AA.

Wow, I just watched both of our Greenfield girls on national tv and both started and both did awesome. Chloe had 10 points and 6 rebounds as #6 Indiana beat Purdue in OT. Awesome game Chloe. Then I flipped over to the SEC channel and Tess starts for the #5 Lady Vols in a big win over Kentucky. Tess had 9 points and played another great game.
I have a sports trivia question for you? How many girls high schools teams in America have got two girls starting on the Top 6 college girls teams in America? One and that’s tiny little Greenfield High School that graduated 35 kids in their senior class. If you can’t tell I’m kinda proud of Chloe and Tess and what they did at Greenfield. Both Chloe and Tess are awesome girls on and off the court. -
Not been to many games so far but it Sounds like to me Loretto has one spot at state and everybody else (Westview GC and Summertown) playing for the other spot.

Wow! Congratulations Tess Darby on a great win 70-58 today at Ole Miss arena. It seemed like half of the crowd today was from Greenfield. Tess has started every game so far for the (15-1) #7 ranked Lady Vols. Tess had 13 points & 5 rebounds and played an awesome game. Greenfield is proud of you Tess.

Wow is all I can say! These two Greenfield girls are making out little town proud. It is simply amazing that these two girls coming out of one of the smallest schools in the state of Tennessee, their senior class had 15 girls in it. Both girls are playing for Top Ten teams in the nation. Tess has started all 8 games for the #10 Tennessee Vols and Chloe is the first one off the bench for the #6 Indiana Hoosiers.
It is just awesome to watch these girls on tv and think back to the 2-3 grade little dribblers and see them excel through a lot of hard work. They brought our little town of Greenfield together and we have memories you can’t take away. I’m truly proud of both these girls.

That’s not really going out on a limb. It was a 33 point game last year McKenzie should win again this year.

Oh me. You are comparing UTM and Union to the Lady Vols and Indiana and Eddie is going somewhere big time. You never see 3 girls that caliber from a small school going big time. Greenfield had a deep team their senior year with Biggs Peterson and Crouse so it wasn’t just 3 girls. Greenfield played defense so don’t go there
The only girl you mentioned that played at a major school is Ashley Mcelhaney at Vanderbilt. Tennessee didn’t recruit Ashley and I don’t know why but they didn’t. I love those Gleason Bradford and Gibson County teams and pulled for all of them. I followed them all to state and pulled for them.
I really liked Michele Street and thought she was big time but their were no big time school offers. There’s nothing wrong with playing for Union or UTM. I followed both of them as well. Kayla Hudson was one of my favorite players off all time but she was a perfect fit for Coach Campbell at Union. I was so glad she went to Union when she signed. Coach Campbell is my favorite coach in the country barring none. Mark is much more than a coach he teaches values, morals and you are a family.

There’s None finer than Heather Butler. She has been my friend throughout the years. We played her at Medina middle school and she was blessed to have Kevin McMillan as a coach. She was not only a great player but a better person. Don’t tell me she could have been this or that because I know who recruited her. She was a perfect fit at UTM.
Mckenzie is much better than Greenfield this year and should win state. Don’t compare this Greenfield team and start putting pressure on them, if we make state this year it will be an amazing accomplishment.
All I’m saying is the Greenfield team of Chloe Tess Edie & Reese, there’s not been a team with that much talent ever in west Tennessee. Not Gibson County, Westview or McKenzie yet. Mckenzie may have 5 Big 5 Division 1 players but I really doubt it but we will see.
Gibson County was a great team, could be #2 team ever in west Tennessee. Do you really think Heather was better than Chloe? You have no one to compare to Tess and then we had Edie. Edie should be up for Miss Basketball this year that would be 6 Miss Basketball nominees on one team.

You are right Heather had offers all over the country but no power 5 Division 1 schools. Greenfield will have 3 girls to power 5 schools. I’m not sure that’s ever happened in Tennessee of all classes. You put those two teams together and out of the 10 players. Greenfield had 3 or the top 4 players. Now it’s hard to win when the the opponent has 3 of the top 4 players on the floor.

Not talking about this years Greenfield team they would lose by 40 to the team of Chloe Tess Edie & Reese and that year. I saw Gibson County they were good but Their best player went to UTM. Heather Butler was outstanding but that team can’t stack up with that Greenfield team. Remember who coached that team at Gibson County, Kevin McMillan. In my opinion the Best high school girls coach ever in this area.
Wasn’t Gibson County AA that year anyway? But in my opinion It wouldn’t have been a close game.

Oh my, have you already forgotten about that Greenfield team. That Greenfield team which was the best team ever would beat Mckenzie easily. (3 Division 1 girls on a Class A team never before)

Loretto is for sure the team to beat in AA. Gibson County or Westview is fighting for a birth at state.
