Point well made. These girls just want to win because of the love for the game. They all have bad nights, but they pick each other up move onto the next game and do their best. In my book all the girls on the Eaglette team deserve to win and have played well this year. Good luck girls hope you come out of the losers bracket and do well.

Coach Robin Ayers and Assistant Coach Kerry Thompson are Shelbyville coaches. Coach Morey was their coach during the seniors freshman year. Just wanted to clarify who was doing a good job now, not that Morey did not. Good luck to the Eaglettes, yall have had a good year considering 5 coaches in 4 years.

I do not know where any of these people are from, but I think they all just want Shelbyville to have a good year. I do not think there is any conflict between parents to my knowledge, but the girls having a different coach in the last four years, I know people feel they deserve to have a good year. I agree with you 13mom. I think the girls are beginning to see that working together as a team helps them to win. I know hitting is a big part and they are connecting much better that they have in the past. They all are doing a part to help get that win. The girls are starting to show some confidence and I am sure the hitting will come with confidence. Keep working hard and know you are a good team. They deserve to do better this year, the past years have been kind of tough but from here on out it can only get better. There already has been some improvements from previous years. This may be true, but if you do not have great defense or even hitters you still cannot win a game. Take for instance the Columbia Shelbyville game, several times Columbia had the bases loaded they hit to the outfield and if they did not have defense they would of scored. A saying I always heard was there were eight people behind you, just put it up there and let your defense work, and I think that is one reason Shelbyville has a good defense, and the pitchers we have know they have people behind them they can count on to make the plays. It is a team effort. I know the pitcher pitches it so they can keep it on the infield and the play can be made, so I'm sure that is where you're staing it is a pitchers game. You also have to have a good catcher that calls behind the plate and can work the batter. Good job Shelbyville on the win everyone did their job.

This was a big win for Shelbyville. They showed a lot of confidence and heart and they know they can compete with the best of them. Just keep it up Shelbyville and things will start going your way. All the girls pulled together and played as a team and contributed to the win. From the pitching, catching, hitting, and defense. You girls should be proud of yourself and know you can win. The next game is against Coffee County and they need to take the same confidence they had in this game on to the Coffee County and pull out another Win. They can do it it all comes down to confidence and working together as a team. Their line up is the same as last year with a couple of additions, so they need to get in there and get a win. The pitching from Samantha Dye and Abbi Foster was great, the catching from Daryl Bell, and all the girls that played good defense and hit the ball was great.
