  1. good point eliteball Taylor is an awesome player but she can't play a team by herself and win it would be virtually impossible nor could Lauren. Both young ladies are strong players but it still takes 5 to win or lose a game. There's no I or ME in team. I had the pleasure of seeing Memphis w/o Lauren in the Miracle Classic and they have a lot of other talent on the team besides her as does the pride. It's not fair to single out these ladies and put them on a pedalstool because God forbid if they faulter and don't proform everygame to the max they are still kids and will have off games....let's face it none of us are perfect as much as we'd like to think we are....:0)
  2. Can someone please shed light on the committed to TN? It's been stated that she's verbally commited in one story and that UT has signed her in another which is it? I always thought that a college can't sign anyone till there junior/senior year. So how other than a verbal is she commited to UT? I know a lot of kids say i'm going to UT so what's the difference becasue that could be considered a verbal as well.
  3. the host hotels and the better hotels fill up fast so i'd reccomend to go ahead my make your reservations and if by chance you don't qualify cancel them. remember the early bird get the worm.
  4. got another question about the trotters. what happened to the now 14u lady trotters? i saw them play this weekend and didn't see any of the jeff co girls and the girl from grainger county not sure on the kids name but i know they last time i saw them the had just won YBOA Nationals. I enjoyed watching them before and was amazed by them having 2 of the best post players in the state and now one is gone has she quit playing or moved teams same with the jeff co girls?
  5. gshoops75, YBOA is a class organazation and is very well run. Our team went and won the nationals in 2001 and it was good competition and well worth the trip. It was what our team needed as we couldn't get qualified in AAU. AAU and YBOA are like the high school level compared to a rec league. Personally after we've been AAU no i wouldn't go back just because that once you've played at a higher level it's not wise to go back because you'll only as good as the best player your playing with. I say that now with a high school player but if i had a middle school team yes i'd give it a try, it just might be what your team needs to set them on fire and get them prepared to play high school ball. hope that helps and good luck to you and your team on whatever road you take.
