ill name one from Coalfield.. Corey Key.. ill name another from rockwood that is just an underclassman in Jolley.. and there are MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY more catchers in middle and west tennessee that are three times better.. trust me!!! another from the local area in Pryor wow you need to look at the HOLE state.. i agree the boy from Jackson Christian is a player.. i take it you havent seen baseball outside of Greenback...

just don't see harriman winning the region.. i think if Prior is on the hill then they have a shot but without him on the mound i don't see it happening.. if they finish first in there district they will either be playing Wartburg which is a very good team or Coalfield which has very good potential to become a good team by post season time.. but rockwood will be the surprist team in there district and region it will be a fight btween the devils and tigers for district title.. i think both Wartburg and Coalfield have a very good shot at beating harriman .. i saw one of harriman's scrimmages this pre=season and was not impressed Prior looked good and there first basebam hit the ball well which is expected. but besides them two i didn't see anyone that could touch a good fastball or below avg. offspeed.. defence looked sloppy and pitching was not very good. but that is just a scrimmage and during the season it is a diff story.. as for Greenback i haven't herd anything from them just saw them play last year and if they are anything like last season they will finish 3rd or even 4th behind rockwood, harriman, or grace.

i hear so much on here about one player making the diference and i no that one player can change a game around but baseball is a team game.. a pitcher can't do anything without his defence and pitcher/defence can't win without the offense. wat are your thoughts about baseball being a team sport and how some people on hear center a team around one player.. i hear so much about he can do this and he can do that well he can't do anything without his team.. just wantin to no your thoughts about the subject..

he is doin well.. he is throwing hard and locating well. very surprised he is looking this good this early!! if he stays like he is and does not fall back any then the rockwood tigers will be a force with him on the mound.. just hope there defence can make the plays behind him.. that was there problem last season.. he will be a force and will be extremely hard for any region team to beat this kid.. he is a competitor..

yes coalfield has someone that throws just as hard if not harder than dougherty in matt johnston.. i on i have clocked both of them my self and had scouts with me at the time!! and yes dougherty is a stud in the region but he is not the best player to come outta morgan county of his time.. have you forgot about the alley boy from coalfield..and the key boy from coalfield?? yes i don't think they are that much better than phillip but they are very evenly matched up... but hey who knows wat can happen this year.. looks wide open to me.. should be a good one!!

ok wartburg is good i will give them that. but they will not go undefeated at all!! i think they will split with coalfield during the regular season and depending on who is on the mound it will be a battle in the district tourny.. wartburg returns everyone from last year so i might have to go with them but i do thing that coalfield has the potential and a possibility to go to the region title game.. and rockwood is a lot better then most people are sayin.. skidmore is a work horse and is gonna extremely tough to beat... and as far as the best player in the region goes.. dougherty is a good player but by far not the best in the region.. in my opinion the better players in the region are,, skidmore, johnston, key, prior, newberry, then you have daugherty.. i no i prolly just made the puppy dawgs in wartburg mad but its my opinion and i have been around baseball for about twenty something years and i think these players i have metioned ahead of daugherty can play college ball at a very good school and be extremely succesfull.. i just think daugherty has to many flaws in his pitchin and hitting to be very succesfull in college. he don't throw that hard and his offspeed is sub-bar his fastball is extremely flat.. he has a good swing but would have trouble with a pitcher with good offspeed. but he may prove me wrong we will see.. good luck to the teams in the region!!!! should be a good year!!!

adam doughty is a fine qb. i played with him at coalfield last season and he should have been the starter all year. he knows more football than half of coaches in morgan county. he is very talented and he deserves more credit than what he is gettin. he is one of my best friends and it is crazy to say that he is not a good qb. the radio people are full of crap. i listiened to them friday and was at the game and it was stupid. coalfield will be fine henry will get them together and the seniors will take over. someone needs to step up on the line and lead them the wilson kid should be pushing people all over the field. their is noone in the region that can handle tc armes win he wants to play. they have the tools to win they just need to put it together. COME ON COALFIELD!!!!!!!!!! LINEMAN PRIDE COALFIELD PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! remember that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

since we are talking about rude and imature fans how bout the wartburg fans. I was at the game when they played coalfield and i cannot count how many times i heard one of their fans tell coalfields catcher Logan Alley to take his butt back to Anderson County reel imature to talk about a high school ball player like that. i will tell you this though i have played against clem for three years. and i will tell you that kid deserves everything he gets. he is a nice and very talented kid. I just wish i had the chance to play ball with him just because of his competativeness. Anyways good luck to rockwood hope you make it to the boro and win it all.

i'm sorry coalfield baseball and the coalfield fans but if you get lucky and beat harriman or rockwood its only because you got 3 new baseball players. wat a crock of crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats a joke hey i got an idea y don't every single A team in the state throw in their gloves cause big bad rockwood is going to steam role everyone on their way to the state title. i really think that coalfield and wartburg will battle it out for the top spot and os will put up a fight because they always do every year. it will be a sad year in coalfield if they don't win the district and challenge rockwood for the top spot in the region due to all the hype up their. i don't think their pitchin will be a problem this year cause word is that they have 5 quality pitchers up their in alley, key1, key2, johnston, warwick, and the doughty kid. i just dont see how you all can say that they can't handle harriman and rockwood. i watched all these teams play last season and they will all be contenders. coalfield and rockwood in the region champ. thats my prediction. but it is baseball and it is a funny sport so who knows what is going to happen.

y did you just say that. this topic is bout the AC and Seymour game. everybody on that team is eligible and i know this for a fact. everybody that is associated with that team are the nicest people around the state. y don't everyone get over the fact that ac has some players from surrounding areas. i gaurantee that every high school has at least one or two players from another county or that is zoned for another high school. SO GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!

i was at the game last night and it looked like to me some of the coalfield players just simply gave up when their team got down in the 1st inning. i guess coalfield just looked right past harriman and harriman showed up to play and the yellow jackets didn't. Coalfield is young and they return alot of starters with experience. in my opinion they will be in the same spot next year.

just wonderin what in the world happend to AC. how did bryge throw? and did ac just make errors or did seymor just crush the ball.
