thank god you all are actually gonna play each other.. i was gettin tired and i know some of the other people on hear was to hearin about how oz wont play rockwood or whatever the matter was.. now you can play and settle it on the field like it should be done!! best of luck to both teams. and i agree with the guy that said wartburg and coalfield will contend for the county title.. but i don't agree with the person that said they lost all there talent.. i agree they will be young but still talented especially on defense. they return Luke Jackson, Austin Hensley, Forrest Adkisson, and have some new comers that will be able to change a game around in Anthony Wilkins, and the Seiber boy.. they will be tough and play very hard. just hope there offense is more productive than last year.. it is going to have to be.

i do see Oneida beating sunbright that bad but not Coalfield by 20+. yea you might beat them but if you do i expect a very close game.. and dissing a community for having pride for there program is unexceptable... that is a very un-classy remark from an oneida fan.. i guess the true colors comes out when you lose a very classy coach that demanded respect and class from his players and fans!!!!

the jenkins kid threw good agianst coalfield and beat them.. idk bout the Infield kid.. i don't like lookin at those K's in the newspaper because you don't no who they have pitched against.. i mean im not sayin the kid don't have talent cause he prolly does but any pitcher could load up some K's against some of these crappy teams.. (talkin about single A ball) im not knockin on single A pitchers or anything cause i played single A ball.. but some of the single A teams i have seen in the box scores when he has pitched don't have much.. BUT i do think that he beat Harriman and pitched very well against them.. he must be pretty good to stop them cause they are a good hitting ball club.. but not really sure about him.. they have surprised me so far with some big wins!

Oz maybe young but still is a decent team.. two solid games against coalfield and beating wartburg who is a very good team.. it says alot bout Oz. they have a very good coach and will put up a good game against many teams that are better than them and beat some of those teams as well... Oz will surprise someone during tourny time just watch and see...

he graduated last year.. im not sure if he is playin college ball or not.. he wasnt the hardest thrower out there but he could pitch.. he new how to keep you off balance with a good curveball.. he shut us down my junior year in the region.. he ain't to shabby.. he is pretty good..

i would expect aa or aaa teams to murder single A schools!! its common sense... they have a lot more students in there schools.. i went to coalfield after playin at AC my sophomore year becuase my family had to move closer to my mamaw.. and coalfield which is a single A school has about 220 kids in there whole entire high school.. i had double or triple that in my class at AC.. i agree competition shouldn't even be compared but sayin all single A is whack is just crazy.. this is why we have classifications in Tennessee.. i loved playin double AA and triple AAA schools while i was playin single A ball it just made us better.. and made our classification seem easier after we played those bigger schools.. but if your talkin just about competition wise then i agree.. and i do agree with you on the Jenkins kid.. if he was as good as everyone says he is on hear then he would have played varsity and not JV at gibbs..

philip can hit 80-83 but trout and woody does not throw that hard.. they might hit 80 once or twice but phillip is consistant.. trout and woody would have to have a warm day and them feeling extremely good to hit that fast..

still would not have mattered it might not have been that bad but harriman still would have run ruled them..

ummm who did you hear this from?? i really don't see any coaches from last season leaving coalfield.. thats just my opinion. this news is new to me and im good friends with the henry's. i played for them my senior year ( coach kris' last season).

i think west TN single A schools are much more competitive than they are in the East. idk why this is but it always seems like a west TN single A or middle TN single A school is winning state.. must be more competition that ways.. i have a good friend that plays for Houston High school in Memphis and we went to see some single A schools play and i played single A in east TN and the competition level is much high in West TN than in the East not to sure bout the middle part of the state. havent seen any of them play much..

very tru.. by the way scimmages don't mean anything.. it is a whole different ball game when the season starts.. so to base how a team is on a scimmage is crazy!! harriman is good and so is wartburg, coalfield, and oz it will be a toss up but i don't see a blow out anywere with any of these teams at all

wow you must have played some crappy double AA schools then.. i played for AC for two years and we saw 83 MOST OF EVERY day!!! and you must have must be one of those guys who has a radar programed into your brain cause i have talked to scouts that have seen Johnston pitch and clocked him with a RADAR GUN NOT THERE EYES!! and yes he does throw 83.. next time you see him pitch have a radar gun and let me no cause i wanna be able to prove you WRONG!!! why don't you stop talkin cause apparently everything you say is not smart whatsoever!!!
