L.C. had the wind the first half and took advantage of a Bearden team that seemed a little rusty. Where is Bearden practicing? I drive by their field on my way home from work, but I haven't seen anyone on their field the past week. I'm guessing this is due to the condition of their field. Anyway, possession in the first half was 50/50. Second half the game continued to become more and more physical with Bearden controlling and attacking. Bearden scored about ten minutes into the second half. Game was halted fifteen minutes into the second half when L.C.'s sweeper got knocked out. The stop in action probably helped L.C. as they aren't very deep and looked tired. Game resumed with Bearden attacking and play continuing to be chippy. Two hard reds were given due to punches being thrown (but not landed). Game ended 10 on 10. Bearden is not down this year. They will be a contender.
Who got the red? Bearden or Lenoir City

Bearden/Farragut has been postponed until a later date. The field is too wet.

Anybody know the Oak Ridge/ Franklin score?
-
Do they still have the port-a-john's?
No they have nice bathrooms.
-
Bearden , nice field.

She is a hand full, but Catholic has some very good players. It's not as easy just trying to defend reece because they have others that can beat you as well.
Didn't Farragut beat them like 7-1? What's up with that?

Farragut, Bearden, Oak Ridge, and West seem to be the favorites to come out of their respective districts barring a Karns or Maryville upset. Who seem to be the frontrunners for the district and regional titles? Does one stand out above the rest? What strengths and weaknesses exist that will be the difference makers?

Farragut at Oak Ridge Who has the edge?

At this point in the season who looks to be the favorites to make it to state?

I have seen scores this year that are 15-0, 11-0, etc... It's one thing when the last half of the goals are scored by athletes that you never see in the box scores. But for the last goal to be scored by the same athlete as the first goal is "running up the score" and IMO bad sportsmanship. There are things a coach can do. Don't allow your scorers to even start the game. Let someone else get a starting opportunity. Of course some benches are not deep. Start players in different positions.

Baylor takes on Bearden this week. Should be a good match up. Any predictions?

When does CAK play Oak Ridge? Any predictions?
-
How is this young man doing now?
-
You can have tryouts in the Spring. West also had theirs then.
-
I have heard that Farragut does not have alot coming in. They lost their key defender and their key forward.
-
What about Oak Ridge? Are they not stronger than Farragut?
-
Did Karns lose players to Hardin Valley? Aren't they also in that district?

If memory serves me right, West High has/had access to a field behind the Knoxville Adaptive Center. Bearden played some games and had practice there for years until several years ago. Knox County gave that field to West High to be used for their soccer program. Is that location not an option?

Oak Ridge wins 1-0

Just curious about Tarr.... How does he decide what games to play? Is it only elimination games? Does he start when he plays? I haven't seen CAK play this year so I am not familiar with the personnel like who plays his position when he is not there.
