  1. I am betting heavily that you don't have the authority to give up anything, except perhaps your own gender attraction issues that you allow to keep leaking into your conversations. If that is a challenge, you might confer with your superiors before making such an offer. No program, no matter how cleanly run, is spotless. To make such a statement is complete folly. You really don't want too much digging going on and thankfully for you TSSAA is so poorly run they don't have the funds to actually pursue it if they cared to. They don't. They already got the majority of the gate money from your state championships. There is nothing left for them to gain.
  2. It happens in a lot of places...you guys have youth football too, and they are not all zoned to Maryville. Don't be foolish.
  3. sure, no one has ever helped a family out with that ridiculously low tuition you have for out of zone students...we all believe that...
  4. What in the world are you talking about? Hit the quote button to respond to me. Another lesson for you, I guess. The only name I have called that i am aware of is calling peepvol a dolt.
  5. His response came after I asked the question, not before. It was a legitimate question, duly answered. Apologies accepted, but I doubt you will offer any. Arrogance seems to be taught at an early age for Alcoa and Maryville football supporters. Pride goes before the fall. Unethically exploiting loopholes usually catches up too.
  6. Nah, go to DII where the other recruiting schools are. You won't do nearly as well there.
  7. I still support my school, but not as stupidly and blindly as he supports his.
  8. By the way, this is hilarious in that is shows your anger got the better of your judgement. Yes Maryville and Alcoa have great Coaching , but what they really have as the " Secret ingredient " that the middle Tennessee area Public schools don't have a clue about , Is kids that are bought in" Thanks for the admission of what everyone already knew. In the words of the great philosopher Homer Simpson, "Doh!" Hilarious. Dolt.
  9. I fell in a well once...does that count? I actually won more than two. More than five if you count two different sports. Proves nothing, just as your post did.
  10. I didnt research it at all. These are the numbers put in your local paper. Sad, actually, now that the rest of the state can see what is going on. Getting nervous? You should be.
  11. When the fifth or sixth word in your argument is to call someone a name, it makes the rest of your message moot. I'm glad your program has a great situation to exploit to loopholes. Its a great collaboration of coaching, some talent, and the ability to legally bring in kids from the far reaches of reasonable drives to school. What you have is to be applauded and defended with insults whenever you feel threatened. Or as you said, "pathetic actually," but that is only on your part and your inability to argue effectively without insults and name calling while trying to do so in the name of a school that you claim, but does not claim you, for kids that won a state championship that you had nothing to do with whatsoever other than paying for a ticket, some snacks, and getting on a website and trying to run your mouth on their behalf. The are better off without you. Get real and try again. And that takes nothing away from the young men who put their blood, sweat, and tears into a great season. They were the best on the field this year. You, on the other had, are far beneath that, and an embarrassment to the school you try so hard but ineffectively defend. Lesson over, class. Or classless, as the case is with you.
  12. Graduating 47 seniors the previous year and hiring a new coach was more of the issue than anything. Brentwood will be back to their winning ways soon, but still wont be competing with Maryville for a few years. I think you have a great idea on the county/city school thing. The county leadership is moronic when it comes to athletics among other things. The director down here is always looking for the next photo op and chance to get himself in the paper. Brentwood needs a new building and football field, but space is limited and suitable pieces of land that would be big enough with enough access would have an enormous price tag.
  13. Something as deep, widespread, and accepted as it is at Maryville can never be a simple yes or no.
  14. The players, the mascot, and the cafeteria workers is my understanding.
  15. Every time an IB shows up, the other rivals in the area complain. But no IB brings in 193 students to a school like Alcoa has in out of zone, tuition paying students.
  16. Hammontree brought in a subtle recruiting game. Quarles capitalized and perfected it. No obsession with Maryville at all, don't flatter yourself. It is a great program that takes advantage of every possible angle. I don't blame them at all for it. It would be a better judge of how good they and Alcoa are to compete in the division where everyone recruits. That is a compliment, whether you agree with it or not.
  17. Thank you for agreeing that the statement is false. That is the conclusion to the statement, if you read my entire post.
  18. It comes down to the zoning policies of the local school district. If they do not have a problem or rule against it, there is no problem as far as TSSAA is concerned, but it can certainly create a situation that is exploitative of students and create an unlevel playing field. Since is apparently has not, no one cares. There is a quality of recruit that is definitely a portion of the equation.
  19. What "facts" are those? Facts are only as good as the interpretation of them. They can be twisted into just about anything. Alcoa plays on a level playing field with 193 tuition paying students in a 3A school. See how easy it is to make a presumptive statement backed by facts that really is a false statement?
  20. Brentwood high school is the number 1 academic public, non magnet school in TN with the highest ACT average, around 25. Next question...
  21. I see no question marks. Those were statements. Try playing year in and year out with schools that recruit at the same level you do, DII. I think you will do pretty good, but not as good as you think. The championships would be more evenly distributed, I believe.
  22. No, that is an academic transfer, very different. What you have to watch is if that student actually does take Russian and stay with it. If not, he should have to go back. IB schools like Oakland and Franklin are accused of this all the time, kids come for the IB program, but are actually coming just for the football. It has to be somewhat policed by the other schools that know what is going on.
