  1. my point exactly, ur to caught up in yourself and arguing about who knows more to even pay attention to other topics.. becasue if u werent u woulda noticed the 4 or 5 times ive posted in this convo about football.. and im not about to start arguing about this with you cause we all know how long u would carry it out just so you would win.. one more thing,, how is it part of the problem that i dont care? its already happened and last season is over, maybe your still stuck on last year because your so amazed by the success and dont wanna let that team go... well guess what this is 07 not 06 so who cares if he broke the rules last year.. definately not me and most likely no one else. so next time you decide to act like a know it all, why dont you do a little checkin up on things before you say stuff your not sure about. when do most of the camps start up for the schools?
  2. i am about ready to read something associated with football, who knows maybe something that has to do with the outlook for 07 in 4A.. something like that might be nice.. im sick of gettin on here everyday and the whole discussion being about who knows more, whos lived longer, who can catch more fish, whos coached longer, if courtney madison broke the rules... who freakin cares... lets talk football for 07.. thats the topic and i would really appreciate it if maybe, just somehow, deep down inside of all your conseited hearts...we talked about football.
  3. who will be some key underclassmen? two names come to the top of my head very quickly from the impact they had last year as sophmores 1-will gilchrist: passed for over 1600 yards with 15+ tds named west tn sophmore of the year 2-cordarrius mann: rushed for around 1000 yards incredible quickness and nice speed
  4. hardin county's coach ryan miller has been head coach for three years now and went to substate in 05 losing to state champs houston, district runner-up in 06, and regular season district champs in 07 and losing to state champs bartlett.
  5. ive read before that this is a big rivalry.. an im sure maryville almost always wins.. but whats the final outcome each year like? i dont know a whole lot about it..
  6. Well that definately is something to look foward to. The only reason i say its a toss up is because i have seen both these guys play and they are both very dynamic but they play on the opposite sides of the ball. ill put it like this then.. senior of the year for offense- shutt , for defense- hardin. hardin might be better, im not trying to argue at all or anything.. i was unable to make the jcm-hardin game last year but i heard it was a good one and i would have loved to watch these two guys play...
  7. What games can you look foward to watching opening night?
  8. who is this transfer from riverdale? i havent heard nething about it? just curious? best senior in the region: toss up between 1-gavin hardin jcm 2-sam shutt hardin county
  9. trust me, its definately very very possible for one player to affect a baseball game just as much as a football game. just incase your not a big espn fan(just to back myself up) maybe you should have watched justin verlander tuesday night as he threw a no-hitter, something that sonny grey is deffinately capable of doing with the stuff he has. if a pitcher throws a no hitter than he has completely controlled the game! do u recall the effects drew hayes had on mckenzie last year in single A baseball.. that team won the state championship, and if you look at stats, its pretty hard to say one team cant go far on one stud player because drew carried all the weight! but i agree.. he should play both sports and enjoy what time he has left. great athlete and should help smyrna to have one of the most productive offenses in the state.
  10. yea BRIGHTON always has talent but u never seem to hear about the team.. its always this player that player, for example this past year joe glass-qb and that defensive lineman, if some of these players we hear of could bring it together they would have a major influence on the outcome of the region. i duno much about HENRY COUNTY, im lackin sources there, i just assume they will have some talent because the accomplishments from last year, i know that came a lot from the seniors that took them to semis but also there had to be some underclassmen involved somewhere.. i believe HARDIN COUNTY will make it pretty far becasue i know they have a lot of talent in their skill players, especially sam shutt. i believe NORTHSIDE will bring a lot to the table this year becasue every year they have an avg line, avg defense, but this year they are returning their star player from last year in cordarrious mann. i was able to watch him play last year and if i was told right he was only a sophmore then. MUNFORD should make a run for it with the help of native talent + memphis talent. i know JCM returns gavin hardin but hes about the only player i know of, i know they lost hogsett and the rb/db #11 he really impressed me. i really cant expect a lot out of LIBERTY, knowing that the struggled in 3A last year and considering this is a very tough region, maybe not always the most succesful in playoffs but definately very tough in region play!!
  11. i never bashed jcm, i bashed your predictions cause rarely do they come true.. jcm has talent, i know that and i never said they werent capable of doing something great because your right, they have been good in recent years. all im sayin is its funny to listen to your bizarre predictions and comments..from what ive gatherd about the players returning for these teams and the coaches that have always prepared well, id have to place them at seasons end in this order: 1)henry county- 2)munford/hardin county- 4)jcm/northside- 6)brighton- 7)liberty...what do you guys think?
  12. Who are some teams this season with many returning starters? on offense? defense? Which schools look to be dominant airing it out and on the ground in O and strong rush and pass D?
  13. sorry to just jump into the convo out of nowhere but i cant help but laugh at your comments u make about knowing all.. because if i can recall this correctly, it seems last year, you had stated that jcm was in the running for region title, which they failed at miserably, behind northside who beat ur powerhouse of a team with 2 players in their qb and rb positions, and to back up the comment earlier about jcm being a rough enviroment and tought stadium to play at,, well the only reason for it being a tough place to play is because of the depth of the grass not to mention the horrible sewage on the field, also i wouldnt wanna leave out the fact that hardin county beat jcm at the rock, since im on the topic of hardin county now, i remember you also saying that neither of the recievers last year #4 and #7 could neither start for your powerful jcm offense you spoke of... ha that was a joke.. lets c, who else beat jcm in the region, munford-check, henry county-check...wow, i cant wait to see the outcome of the jcm/hc, jcm/munfor, jcm/hardin games this year.. according to you the outcomes will be kinda one-sided huh? so that means in reality jcm wil more than likely end up somewhere near the bottome again.. good luck though against liberty,, there my friend, you stand a chance... but if u wanna get technical, they do have more coaches then jcm and that was one of your reasons as to why jcm had a down year so liberty just might take it.. once and for all, i am.. the imperious.. wait no thats what you say and your predictions are wrong.. -allstate1992
