You guys had the speed and we did'nt play at all like we have been all year. Congratulations Pirates on a fine season and I am sure your old coach is smiling today from above. Good luck next year and maybe we can meet agian. Till next season..... We do plan on being back in Murfreesboro this spring though .. with our baseball team.

Rebels..you carried us on one heck of a journey this season. Don't hang your heads. Be proud. God put you there at that place and time for a reason. Now use the experience to remember forever that you brought home the siver ball for McKenzie High School for the first time ever. That was a major accomplishment. We are all proud of you. No matter what anyone says in any other post or anywhere on this site. You are a great football team and you proved it. You won the games to get there. No one can take that away. I will forever remember this class of Seniors and the pride they brought to this town. Carry on young men and enjoy your successes that you have had this season ! Exactly, you have not seen McKenzie play. We are the real deal fellows and we will hit you harder than anyone has all year. We have stopped several great backs trying to run up the middle and we finally stopped Marco Daily after we figured out that if we stayed home he could not get outside, because we shut down his running up the middle. I am positive we will not face another as fast and agile as him. Then you start trying to pass, well that has not been effective on us all year. We have a very solid defense and that is where this game will be won. Because we score at will. Our offense is hard to stop. Too many weapons and a very smart QB. McKenzie will win this by two touchdowns. Good luck and I hope for a safe game. Let's bring home the Gold Ball Rebels. It's time to close the mouths of all the doubters. Let's get er done !

Congratulations Rebels ! Hey MP, you played a great game and gave us the biggest challenge we have had all year. I know you are proud of your team. Unfortunately , someome has to lose. I'm sure you will be back again next year. I thank the Lord that it was an injury free game. I am proud of you Rebels for not giving up. I am a bit partial, I am the father of #86 (2 point conversion reception and two 4th quarter interceptions). Go Rebels ! Bring Home The Gold Ball !

Same here. I am glad that flatrock, fatrock.. whatever his name is does not reflect the folks and fans of South Pitt. We know we are in for a challenge and we gladly accept. I believe it will be two quality football teams take the field and may the best team win. Congrats on your win last nite SP and the Rebels. Good luck Trenton, from a Mckenzie fan. We are pulling for you. I predicted your win over Milan and I predict another one for you next Friday night. Go Peabody !

I really believe that McKenzie is unstoppable. I will use the word...Destiny. And lil jack, go back to the hole you came out of and get you a radio and listen next Friday night as the game is played and start cooking up another batch of crow stew. You will need it.

What you need to understand is that McKenzie will stop the 2 and 3 yard runs. Best defense in Single A this year I believe. And we score early and we score all the way to the 4th quarter. Should be a good game until halftime, then McKenzie puts a nail in the coffin in the second. Been doing it all year against good teams in both classes, Single A and Double AA. Ask Huntingdon and Trenton. We lost to Trenton with about 1:30 left in the ballgame. Trenton is in the final four. Only team to beat us. Taking nothing away from a great season for Mt.P but I believe McKenzie will be too much for you. GO REBELS !

It has become more clearer to me every week that the conditioning you guys have endured all summer shows up at every game in the second half. Our opponents seem to just fade away with the minutes on the clock and we are still making big plays until the last second. We are not a one diminsional team. We are not a one superstar team. WE ARE A TEAM ! A big play is liable to come from anyone on the team at any given moment. Incredible. You guys are one game away from the big dance. Last night, I would say that there is not another team in the state that could have beaten you. Stay focused and let's welcome mt.p next week, then show them the door as we pack up for the boro.
