I m really not sure about this game but i know that Ooltewah has alot of kids out injured (6 i think)............

actually funk is a freshman and number 11 who caught an int tonight is a freshman and a couple of d and o lineman who got in the game tonight were freshman. also one of the db was a freshman. i also been trying to tell you guys form day one that allens not a good coach.but i'm still trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

congrats to howard for winning there first game. i don't no if we will win a game this year. i just don't understand with all the other sports having success. i no we have athletes at the school but none of them want to play football.. was up with that??? is it the coach?? or something else??? somebody make me understand ??? i'm lost. but hey go pounders

EH wins this re-match...............although i do think it ll be alot harder battle than expected (i thought that lastweek too ha ha). Brainerd s tough and athletic.

EH has had this game circled along with Signal ,Oolt, BC, all summer. I know they all want to re establish the king of the district. { or Walls of the city }. Little payback time.

 

Seniors on this team had better realize more students and size does not overcome heart and Brainerd had that last year.

Always hard to beat a team twice in the same year, and EH has a problem with becoming overconfident when they should simply take care of business. Remember Lancaster Christian few years ago? Brainerd last year, Ooltewah already this year.

 

EH needs to watch last years playoff game and interviews for even more motivation.

I would like to apologize if my post offended anyone. I did not mean for it to come across wrong. I was just picking at the Panther Nation to start posting. But going back and reading it I can see that some might take it wrong. My BAD.

The only way it looked like that.... would be IF YOU WERE LOOKING for it to imply that, which everybody knows you were nt!!!! EH is definitely going to Class AAA/5A, with the enrollments reported in the paper. Things leveled off but not before passing 1100 in 9-12.

You are correct. Now to pee off some folks! Can't wait to get out of this district, Howard, Brainerd, East Ridge, Hixson, do not travel at all. Central and Red Bank are OK, and just OK. The first 4 we had more in the vistor section then they did in the home stands. If it where not for Signal and Ooltewah we would not make a profit this year. Class AAA/5A travel well and we should be able to do some things with our facilities. I know the dept of ed is not going to help. Well they will when Howard starts building it's new field and tract on the old Poss homes site. If the teams want to get better in 2AA/6A try building a fan base, Central is trying and Red Bank is good, but those other are bad. And don't tell me there's no fan support cause your guys are full during basketball season.

Dont blame the Dept of Education for not helping because they dont help anybody else either.......... EH/East Brainered community told them to build the school and we ll build the athletic fields and ya ll have been the one s who dropped the ball. Didnt EH have a $200 thousand dollar donation recently???

Congrats on a big win tonight. Hopefully, the Cains is peakin' early and the Eagles is finished layin' eggs. Don't forget to mention those SM/EH Middle school games. The future looks bright for us too.

This may be true, but the county is really cracking down, it is much harder to get a kid in. A kid is going to have to prove he lives in the zone. East Ham was down in 6th grade this year, so much so that they lost 2 6th grade teachers shipped to other schools.

I agree Chattacane..........................there really cracking down as they should. I think the re zoning probably caused the biggest drop-off.

I thought he was hurt from the Tyner game and out for the season????? What was he doing playing anyway??

My guess is Cleveland will beat them as bad as they want.

 

It was stated on here EH has recruited the player for two years, I was asking if the one stating it still believed that after the responses.

NO..................if the child/parent are going to several diffrent schools looking for better environment/coaching, that's NOT recruiting. Alot of people do that for their kids for more reasons than sports.

Before we get to deep into blaming Private Schools...................dont think for 1 sec that these Public Schools are nt recruiting these kids as much or worse!!! There s a couple of kids i know for a fact that are as 7th & 8th graders and believe it or not a 11yr old was getting wore out by coaches in Chattanooga and ended up at a small private school instead.

EH look great against SM, but I think the bears will be a little too much for the canes. 28-24 bears

Anybody would look good against SM this year...............not like years past guys, it s just not a fair comparison!
