I just don't see why everyone is bashing the coach. He didn't bench TR. he plainly stated that job was not settled. TR may not have played very well but he was not canned. He quit on his own. He left the team. The coach may have mentioned that he could play receiver, but who doesn't want their best athletes on the field. Whether he played QB or not he should have finished this year,Transferred first of the year and moved on. Quitting on his team will reflect poorly on his resume when he tries to play elsewhere. His education should be his primary focus. I would like to see him return to UTC this fall. Good luck to Terrell whatever he decides

We do not have a JV team your freshman beat us bad 38-6, owls are very good, The middle schools play thurs night at East Ham. They are very good. I have the most respect for coach Williams at the middle school. Taught a lot of our guys football when they were in middle school. LoJack was his star runner. Our Freshman team has some work to do. They are big but need more practice with skill players. That was me trying to be nice..... some of our freshman parents might read this, but they got a long way to go.

EH Middle is probably the best in town IMO but JV drops off alot!!!! Need to get that Middle School coaching brought to par and have those boy s ready for Freshman Year of football..........

No blame, kids can go to those priviate schools if they want, it's there choice. Could have been Boyd blue. But it sure was not any Owl red, why would any of our kids want to go back to exit 11, they ran like H*ll to get away from it.

At what sport??? Football??? Ooltewah Varsity beat EH......EH JV cancelled against Ooltewah for some unknown reason..........Ooltewah Freshman beat EH something like 44-6 (may not be exact but it s close)

This really is the first senior class that has been at EH all 4 years. No BS, just facts.

 

Signal won state two years ago and were #1 in the 2012 Times Free Press Power Poll. Signal is 4A, by the way. It was a big win for the program.

 

EH people talk less smack than any team on this board. They didn't put out any preseason hype. They won the district last year after going 2-8 the year before.

 

EH has lived up to the hype and then some. They are currently ranked #7 in the AP Poll in 4A. 2-1 overall. 1-0 in the district. Mercy-ruled Signal and Central and lost to your beloved Owls by 3 points in the last 10 seconds.

 

The Owls will need a district win before you can run your mouth about other teams not living up to the hype. Don't let Siegel blow you out like they did last year. Heck, it might be Week 6 until the Owls get their first district win.

EH hasnt lived up to any hype to me cause i hear it all day long at work and i know this is the 1st senior class and tired of hearing all these reason s why they lose or might lose...............as i ve said before i post %80 BS and %20 FACT........now i know for a fact thats a fact. They better enjoy the mercer ruling cause there gonna be on the other end of it soon enough. They re playing down a classification now i would nt expect any less. Look dude............everybody s tired of hearing how many games ya ll have played and 1st senior class BS........you try and play it in your favor when you play up(which you should be anyway according to the numbers) and then you get on here and act like you ve beat the NY Giants when you beat SM (2a team)...........i think EH would get alot more respect if they would just shut up and play whoever and do there best and not put out pre-season hype they have nt lived up too so far unless you include the massacre of Central then i ll give you that one!!

Yep, that's why we have been playing up in our non district games. Our Middle School program has been playing those feeder schools also. But by the looks of the McCallie blue and Radier Red shirts in the the crowd at our middle school games, we might be short handed.

I dont have no dog in the fight but i know this kid and he has been in other places looking to play ball not just ehamilton. i will say i know for fact the kid and his mom was looking for a better place for the kid to be coached and thats the bottom line. its not recruiting if the kid and or parents are asking around to see whats best for that kid whether it be ga or tn. Both states have great coaches nobody can argue that---its not RECRUITING IF THE the MOM specifically asked to go look at EHAMILTON, RINGGOLD, DALTON RIDGELAND OR WHOEVER SHE THINKGS the kid will get the most out of his athletic ability. I usually just like to read but i know this one for a fact and the way people use the RECRUITING by some good coaches on here needs to stop. Chattanooga only has a hand full of succesfull coaches and we need to keep them here and not get run out of town by people that dont have a clue and just accuse to try to cause trouble.

I posted the county stance on getting into EH due to the over crowding. He an't there so I guess he did not meet the standard. Some other guy said the same kid was at Ringgold, and other schools sounds like shopping not recruiting. No not every school recruits, a team starts to win, and here it comes, nobody gave a rats behind when we were getting our brains beat in. The kid is in middle school so how s that a reflection on Gatewood?????????? He s the high school coach........so i think you took it the wrong way pal............it is true and i know that as a fact!! Now back to the brains getting beat in it s like everywhere else such as Signal Mtn and Ooltewah nobody cares til your winning and your right but it goes with the territory so it just some getting used too i guess.........i think Gatewood is probably the best coach in Chatt myself and hate that he s losing some his best middle school players next year going into high school. Lets get one thing out there. No coach from East Ham went to this kid and said come to East Ham. I think you know who I am 2 Seam, if not just ask around, so I can speak to this matter. His Mom made the first move to get him in at East Ham, "I want my kid coached, and be on a winning team" She was told that he would need to get cleared by the school office, and or make a move into the school zone. She did try hard to find a house did not happen. He is not at East Ham. He was not recruited by East Ham, they made the (Mom) move. We do not care if the kid is a stud or not if they cannot move into zone, we do not take them. You can say what ever you want but you cannot question Gatewoods morals. You know him to well.

that question i have no cule and no he suppose to be in the 9th like i said he is only 13 and i'm a alumni and a fan (no kids) i played for central and care about central and is very involve at central. and what i am speaking on is what i've been hearing form the community and the kids and what i see. no allen isn't all the blame. like i said i really want to give coach allen a chance but i want sit and listen to outside people talk about these kids any more. because it takes a village to raise and guide them. it starts with the community(parents) and coaches and teachers.

also when i try to tell parents form brown to let there kid go to central and i say allen the coach they make a funny face or say no i heard about him. whatever that means. ask bradley and lfo y about that

 

and the rb for brown which is pretty good his mom said they are moving so he can go to east ham to play. becuase she doesn't lik central.smh THIS ISTHE PROBLEM!!

once again you have no clue what your talking about the RB at brown is 13 years old and he does suppose to be in the 9th grade. i no the kid he got held back in elementary. another thing the kids that went to ridgeland to play are so big of troublemakers that they have every major school after them. how much are you willing to bet the same kids allen kicked off are the same kids that got kicked off by the two previous coaches before he got there and we can sit down and go down the list of the players allen kicked off if you want to. with the exception of the 4 boys he kicked this season. like i said before he's not dealing with anything special that other area coaches don't have to deal with. so whats your next excuse or false statement you got?

So let me try and get this straight................1)your kid either got kicked off Centrals team 2)you already applied for Allan s job and didnt get it 3) or your kid still isnt playing were you want him/or playing at all and he could take them all the way???? once again another excuse every team and school has trouble makers. what about the kids that went to ridgeland that are now d1 athletes. what about the kids that live across the street form central that go's to signal mountain everyday. couple go's to norte dame. central went to the playoffs 09 and 10 right before he got there but yeah its the kids. he take over a team with kids that had went to the playoffs every year and never experience a losing season at central since they been at central. which is a first in years. and you say he's losing games because of the kids please spare the bs. centrals a good school with good kids but the coaches are running the good kids off because of bad coaching. and if the kids you think you heard was trouble makers or bad kids why do they go to other schools in excel with no problem. please stop making excuses. we are terrible team because coaches and the community,

also its funny how the middle school wins championships and runner up in the county for the last five year but the kids go to every high school to play football but central but yet everybody wants to blame the kids and never blame the coaches. its a reason y they don't go to central.and it aint because of trouble kids.

I m not making excuses i m telling it like it is and your the one making excuse s ............the reason the kids are going to Ridgeland and SM are because of the troublemakers he trying to rid the school of.............hint hint.....the kids that went to the playoffs are gone or in jail or kicked off by Allen. Central s alot better now than it was 5 or 10yrs ago but it s not Mayberry as you make it sound, with that being said maybe you should coach the team and lets see what you can do with all these stud athlete s Central has or you could hepl recruit some...........Softball team is pretty good though!!!!!! Oh yeah they kids go and excel at other school s because the other schools put up with their BS unlike Central ha ah..........One last thing, the reason the middle school is doing so good is because there s kids that are supposed to be in 9th or 10th grade playing as 7th/8th graders..........all depends on the birthday and i know one for sure who s still playing for Brown this year who s to old!!!!!

Make it a school kids/parents want to attend and they ll go................he just got there so give him a chance!! He strying to clean it up...........he refurbished the scoreboard/stadium and football field from what i heard.

yeah we are bad . there is a lot of youth on the team. and he's not ironing any issues out he is the issue.thats an excuse ppl are making for him and his bad coaching and decision making. if he wouldn't have ranned all his upper classman off when he first got there he probably could have had at least an average team this year but he didnt and now the kids he ranned off are playing good at other schools. alot of the young kids we have could have alot of potential but parents are now starting to complain about his coaching. saying there going to take there kids else where so there want be any in a couple of year=a good team. if we can't keep the younger kids togather.

What he did was run off the trouble makers and the kids bringing the team and school down and he s got what he s got and is gonna go with it and you have to admire a man who ll take a beating to prove his dedication to the community.........lord know s he wants to win after leaving SBA and getting pounded year after year BUT i think he s moving the school in the right direction for sure!!!!!!! These parents are the same ones that would be complaining because their kids not playing and now there complaining cause they cant win LOL..........give him a year or so to see what he does and then we ll throw him to the wolves ha ha!!!!!!

they should be fine in the weak district they are in,tyner should be the only team to challenge them. but in my opinion they won't last long in the playoffs, too many good 4a teams. also very interesting how quite the eh folks are now that the owls beat em again. where did the beast and everyone else go?

Beast will be back Sunday one of his Ooltewah grads is getting married today, did not even go to the game last night. He will not be happy lost the game, and spent God knows how much money on the wedding.

BEAST69 out of town and not going to the game is the best i ve heard yet.................were all having fun but i can GUARANTEE one thing if EH won......... he would be on COACHT !!!!!!!
