  1. It's ok dear, I fixed it and he apologized and so do I. He wont be posting anymore.

hey i wouldnt be sorry for anything if what you said is true!!!!!!!!!!! if hes not going by the rules of the league hes in, then he needs to pay the price, and should be kicked out of the league and shouldnt be playing in dizzy dean turnys, if all the kids from the all star team are not from the same rec league or the same sanctioned (dizzy dean) league or what ever league ya ll are in he shouldnt be playing dizzy dean baseball. theres a select league that they can play for people that PUT teams together from DIFFERENT leagues and want to stack a team! if its true all hes doing is taking away from the kids playing rec ball and trying to make himself look like a good coach GATHERING kids up to win ball games, which is obsurd. if its TRUE, it sounds to me like somebodys MAD because they got caught not anything more or less, and the kids dont need to brought into it at all.

  2. Brady has been working out at Ooltewah. He was at passing practice last night.... It's still going to be a toss-up between all 3 QB's...

hey i dont know where he is working out or where hes going to school, but i m finally glad to here someone say that someone is not going to walk in and have a job, there are talented kids (some of the best athletes in chattanooga), up there. got to earn your spot up in Ooltewah!!!!!!!! i dont think many people just show up and have a position at OOLTEWAH. i think that all 3 qb s will be great no matter what happens.

  3. I am not trying to put anyone down but I do get a little sideways with everyone that claims to run a 4.5 forty when most 4.5 hand timed fortys are really about 4.65 electronic fortys depending on the running surface. It's much easier to run a 4.5 on a hard track than a high school football field where the grass has some legenth or on some of the new field turf. Sonny Gray is a very good kid and he will do fine in life but my gut tells me that he may very well take the money of MLB. If he is offered a signing bonus with seven figures and his education paid for should he ever wish to return to school he will have to take a close look at the big picture which is making a living.Let's hope that the young man stays healthy during football and has the option of college baseball or professional baseball because we all know that one hit can change your life forever.

i understand what your saying and agree with you totally, except on the speed, to me it doesnt matter what your running on, a 4 5 or 4 6 is still what it is. honestly i would take the money and run, of course you could go back to school later, if neccasary. theres a kid from Ooltewa high school last year that had a full ride to Vandy and did what you said, took the money i think his name was Tyler Burke a very good baseball player, they said every scout in the country was begging for him, the same for Sonny Gray i m sure.

  4. Ooltewah will ONLY have 9 games this year. I think the coaches put the schedule behind them and are looking foward for the season to start. There are some good looking kids at Ooltewah. There are 3 receivers that are 6'3 plus with speed and great ability. Speed is everywhere at the nest. Can't wait for the season to start.

thats a big bunch of receivers, how are the linebackers stacking up? is it true the defense is as stronger than years before? a couple of ends are supposed to be studs.

  5. The returning players would have made SD a 6th place team. With those 6-7 stud "transfers" playing this year I wouldn't be surprised with a 3rd place finish. Any surprise transfers for this year?

Best Coach in TN??? ....he has along way to go before even getting his name even mentioned in a discussion of the "best". Probably should let him to at least win a region title before starting that bull Let see how good he does with his loaded team first. Circle Oct 19

well, maybe i stretched it a little bit saying the best in tennessee, but my point is Allen is a great coach no matter were he is or who he s got, hes got the knowledge and the experience.thats what Silverdale needs. i thought he won a title in North Georgia? or maybe he just led LFO to a undefeated season, cant remember.

  8. If you know enough about the team and coach to think he's the best in the state, you're probably just wanting people to comment about the team you follow and/or play for. Why not just say it that way, instead of "what are they looking like this year?"

i ve followed coach Allen from his days in North Georgia, and i know a little about the team and none about the kids supposedly coming in, and of COURSE i m wanting people to comment about the team THATS WHY I POSTED ON THE SITE, THATS WHAT THIS SITE IS FOR, isnt it? and i put it the way i wanted to say it not the way you wanted me to say it. all i m saying is they shcould or couldnt do well i m asking. i dont know how all the other teams are, so thats why i said what are they looking like this year!!!!!!!!!!!! when he was in N Georgia he did very very well, and i think hes great with the kids, the way i ve understood it.

  9. Runs a 4.5 forty? Yes, and I am Mr. Fred Thompson the next president of the United States of America. I have watched Sonny run against other players and and while he does have some speed he is not even close to a legit (electronic) 4.5 forty.

hey Fred good to meet you,(i mean, Mr Fred Thompson next President) he is legit (electronic) and it is proven that he is 4 5 speed. not that it matters anyway, he is still a natural athlete and will do good at the next level reguardless of his speed, i dont know why some people want to put a good young athlete down, we need to be hoping he doesnt get hurt or in any trouble, and makes good grades at Vandy and maybe he ll be OUR Doctor someday.

  10. The reason why Ooltewah does not get press is because the majority of the writers from Chattanooga Times Free Press either have family or themselves went to Red Bank,McCallie, Baylor, or Notre Dame, explaining 5 pages of press on saturday morning. And no, ooltewah will not have a tenth game which is a HUGE advantage if you know anything about football. 15 games is brutal in a season, thats more than college football, and one less will only help Ooltewah's chances of going to Murfreesboro. To answer your ? :JV only plays 4 or 5 games.

i think you hit the nail on the head owlpride but it was still tough for everyone to deny the owls last year but in my opinion they still didnt get enough coverage last year either. the baseball doesnt get enough coverage either ooltewah had some studs out there playing and some signed college skollies and still didnt here a whole lot in my opinion. how did you figure out that will not be a 10 th game.

  11. Reed is in the weightroom and is at practice with the Ooltewah Varsity. Tall, but no superstar. Brantley Smith knows the system and has more experience as a junior. Its hard for a sophomore to take over the reigns when he doesnt know the plays come August.

who was the backup qb last year, or the 3 string, ooltewah shouldnt have to depend on anybody transfering from anywhere, is there really a qb issue or do we not really know whats going on up there? its hard for a sophomore to do anything as a starter reguardless of position or size so i ll agree with owlpride on that one. you ve got to be a STUD to play at a school as big Ooltewah and with the talent up there, no matter what some people consider superstar status.

  12. Iv seen goose play and he isnt much...iv seen Oliver play and he will most likely be at the starting QB spot for the Ooltewah freshman team....so to answer ur question if he will have to sit this year?....my answer is unless he gets alot better he will most likely sit all 4 years if he stays at ooltewah......sorry to hurt your feelings

just dont try to talk a kid up too much if you have no idea....k, thanks

i cannot believe someone would say that about a kid that could possibly get on here and read this about them selves, these kids are in the 9 th grade for goodness sake!! and owlzz is your kid any good? has he started on the varsity since his freshman year? and the size thing does not matter i dont care who you are or what you play if you ve got the desire and the god given talent then it doesnt matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! arent you a small fella to the best of my knowledge? exactly! GO POUNDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
