  1. I have to give credit where its due. I didn't see any of that behavior. I even witnessed some of Indy's parents praising opposing team players no complaints here. I hope some of the Gallatin fans can get to the stadium while its still light out because it is a beautiful stadium to play at.
  2. Yes, I watched the game. Ravenwood had a very down year this year they only beat one team with a winning record and that was Franklin. Becker is an amazing athlete, a three year veteran varsity player if you don't think your sophmore qb didn't have a little luck on his side your a fool. But hey maybe Indy really is the best team to ever take the field and needed no luck because they are just THAT good. I guess no need wishing you luck friday because your team don't need it!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Your comments and prediction don't match up very well. You said "their defense should give IHS a run for their money" and yet score 45 points on them? I'd say thats more than an edge its a spankin
  4. your comparing apples to oranges. kinda like if your team ran all over stratford, whites creek, glencliff, or Hillwood. How impressed would you be with high stats over those teams? Lets face it these teams are the cream of the crop or they wouldn't be here. If your counting on "obvious" weaknesses you WILL lose with that attitude. You can't compare what one team did to one team. It LOOKS like Indy handled Ravenwood easily but it was a lucky win that easily could have went the other way when Ravenwood just broke down with just a few minutes left in the fourth and gave up I think 21 points 14 in the last 28 seconds. It looks one way on paper but totally different in reality.
  5. I have no doubt your game will have top notch officiating because you will be there! Someone who cares about the integrity of the game and someone who will do his best thats all anybody can ask for. You are SO right about it being the #1 game to those players on that field and if the officials would treat it that way we wouldn't be having this discussion. Again for those who don't go back and reread all these insightful post these complaints are againt the officials that take NO pride in their job and make the horrific calls/no calls that just leave you feeling you have been cheated. Hopefully, there will be none of these problems for the duration of the playoffs. I am keeping the faith.
  6. Maybe his last name starts with a "C"
  7. You must have not taken the time to read any of the posts. I feel like I just got a flag thrown on this post for a call that didn't happen but hey I am used to seeing that all season. I don't care what you say this IS the worse season for officials. At this rate you watch and see a team WILL get knocked out of playoffs because of an official making a horrible call/no call.
  8. My grandpa has been looking for a part time job I will pass that on to him.
  9. Why wouldn't anybody with any sense pick Centennial over Indy. At that point in the season you had already been out scored 14-56 (by very good teams I may add) but you sure didn't have that stellar of a season last year. After changing coaches, and QB's. You tell me back in week three who would have given you any chance to win many games or especially region? But you did and no doubt you're team is to be congratulated. I have seen Indy play more than once and I think they are pretty good but not great and VERY beatable. I wouldn't be buying a trophy case yet. That gold ball is very elusive.
  10. Since this is your first visit to the playoffs you will be execused from your ignorance. A whole new season starts on Friday the past 10 games are over. Its 50/50 and thats about as good as chance as you got so take it and hope for the best. There WILL be upsets friday and your team has a good as a chance at being upset as any team out there. Good luck to your seniors because they will need a boat load of it as all the teams out there will.
  11. I hope they show this game this week on replay I want to see how Ravenwood managed to lose this game. I want to see about all this unsportsman like behavior. What a let down of a season Ravenwood only able to beat one team with a winning record (Franklin 10-7). By the way where has Rapbwood been I guess he will have to change his name to Rapbgone!! BYE BYE dude!!!!!
  12. Its the playoffs you should be afraid, be very afraid. everyones game is bumped up at least a notch and you can bank on upsets this friday night. Could it be the Eagles?? very possible. I pick Gallatin they are very playoff savy.
  13. Very poor timing for a post like this on the eve of a huge game against Ravenwood that has such huge playoff implications. DC needs to concentrate on getting in the playoffs and worry about this when the season ends which could be in about 28 hours if they don't take care of business!!!
  14. I don't know what team your watching but no way the games I am watching has 30 -40 chances to score I would guess at best your offense has possesion 15-18 times and thats pretty high. Anyway thats besides the point. I don't care if you have 50 chances to score if you have a score taken away because of a bad or no call is unexecuseable thats what this topic is about. Look every single poster on these boards could come on this topic and share bad calls this subject is about the calls that a man with a seeing eye dog could almost call and that have a very important outcome of a game. The teams only have ten games to make their playoff bids and postion themselves the best they can. That leaves no room for losing a game because and overweight, too old, half blind official couldn't give a flip about whats gone into each and every game. Come on TSSAA lets at least have three strikes and your out. My question to the official at the Brentwood/Frankline game that called a fair catch signal and then was allowed to run it in for a touch down is this Why do you think the player just stood there not running? I am not and have never been an official but I am guessing that there is at least one zebra who's job is to only have his eye on the runner. I ask was he doing his job when every single person in the stadium saw the fair catch signal but him? I think not. All I am saying is its now playoff time PLEASE don't send a team home packing because YOU didnt do your job their whole season done because you can't pay attention and DO YOUR JOB!!!!!!!!!
  15. The officiating this season is some of the worse I have seen in many seasons. The officials came very close of causing the Bruins to lose the game against Franklin and this past week Riverdale was almost robbed of a win because of poor officiating. I just watched the replay of Brentwood/ Indy game and there again a very bad no call on a turnover by Indy that was so very blatent, who knows it could have changed the whole out come of the game. No one expects perfection by the officials they are not always going to get the spot right or they can't see every face mask but these examples are unexecuseable and I would bet there are dozens more. Please Officials lets raise up your game as the playoffs approach lets not let a team down because of YOUR poor ability to do your job. The football players should expect you to bring your A game and do the best you can do. If you don't care then please find a different part time job the outcome of these games are so crucial to the players they put their heart and soul, and blood, sweat, and tears and not to mention broken bones and torn muscles all year and to have a game lost in that way, again is unexecusable.
