I hear that Starsnbars is going to offer garabge service to the Stone QB#5 when he transfers to Maryville next year. That is how they got Burnette from Halls.

First of all, let me apologize for my part in this message board. I have removed all of my previous posts and this will be my last. Like many of you, I haven't been to greatest example for these kids by some of the trash that I've spoken on this message board. I, like so many others, love to create controversy here. It’s kind of the same concept that makes Jerry Springer fun to watch. Is it right? Absolutely not. I may not agree with the actions of some coaches but it’s their decisions to make, not mine. So I ask myself, what is gained? The obvious answer is no one gains anything. I have to ask myself, who suffers the most in all of this? The answer to me is simple, the kids. I finally realized this and I won’t be a part of it anymore. Best of luck to the students and I encourage all parents to follow suit. High School is supposed to be fun. In life, not all things are as rosy as we all would like but at work or at the home, you must take personal accountability for your actions. If at the end of the day, you can look yourself in the mirror and be proud, no one can take that away. I can't see why Little leaving relates to playing time. He would have played. But was he being prepared to play? mentally and physically Mommy made him leave because he wasn't going to start, i agree that he would have played alot , #12 was a good QB , but it was about starting. From what i hear Coach Gaylor left because of parents trying to tell him how to run his program. I've talked to alot of players on other teams about parents interfearing with program. they said their coach wont talk to parents about playing time. Parents need to support program and let the coaches do their job. Players have left and our team is about who is still here working hard for Clinton football , it don't matter what these unhappy people think, they took their toys and left, move on and leave us along. Once again (where do you get your info?..geesshhh) wrong...It wasn't about quitting their teammates, it was about standing up for what is right. I guarantee that the teammates don't blame any of them and there will probably be more that follow their lead in the near future....They QUIT because of the COACHES (Shattuck, Phillips and Stone) and the lack of integrity and leadership that they were showing. It had nothing to do with teammates....best of luck to the team, but not the coaches mentioned......May they reap what they sow...... what a cop out blame the coaches, your full of sh*&, all this started because #12 QB got beat at QB by #5, if you knew anything about football you would see that #5 was the better QB, this is what everyone is saying , #12 's mommy's mad so she makes son transfer, thats the bottom line. Little is a fine young man he would have stayed and worked hard but mommy wanted him to start because he is from clinton and # 5 is a transfer. team is better off with mommy at Grace , if you think i am wrong ask around, i guess if coaches gave in to mommy and Clinton went 0-10 then that would be ok because mommy is happy. beatAC

The fact is they quit on their teammates, they may turn out to be good young men at their new schools and i wish them luck , but the fact is they quit on their teammates. the kids that transfered to Grace will have to sit out a year and pay tution , which i hear is about $12,000 a year. go Clinton beat AC

Clinton has a good team this year ,may win just 4 games but it will be with kids who are willing to work hard and not quit when things don't go their way Hey Dragoons, this is what i said.

Clinton started slow against Sevier County ,but played better as game went on. 2 long td passes for Clinton and 2 long runs for SC. Clinton had 4 turnovers. Clinton played hard and was fired up at end of game. Play Heritage Tuesday, good luck. beat AC

i love how ppl get on here and talk about something they know nothin about......i am one of the peope who have quit in the past and i had a starting position and was offered that starting position back about the middle the summer....and still refused to come back!!!! so it has nothing to do with that uprising2007 sounds like your good at quitting, whose fault was it that u quit. i bet u quit because the coaches wanted you to show up at summer workouts and u didn't want to because it was hot. or maybe u wanted to practice when u wanted to and still have a starting position. maybe one of the coaches screamed at you for missing a block. go clinton beat AC

sounds like don222 , uprising2007 and clintondragonfan are working together to put down clinton football. I could tell who the best QB just by watching the passing league games. # 12 was good , but # 5 looked better. This is just my views which mean nothing. I support the Clinton football program. Most players that don't start work hard for playing time, seems people at Clinton just transfer when they don't start, then blame it on coaches or the school , always someone else's fault. The distention is with the coaches and the way that the kids are being treated. The players aren't competing against each other for positions it's the parents and the coaches that are competing against for positions and Andy has shown that he can be bought. Statements like this is whats wrong at Clinton. Go Clinton beat AC

i seen all the scrimmages and most of the passing league games and i think # 5 was the better QB , the problem ain't the coaches its the parents who think their kids should start just because of who they are. Parents who can't have their way and make their kids transfer is what is going to bury the program. I thought clinton looked good against SC. I am just a fan but i think the best QB was starting. # 2 will be all state before he is done at Clinton. Your right Grace QB will be a senior. maybe transfer from Clinton can start his senior , unless someone beats him out. Beat AC

If you can't beat someone out , just transfer sounds like a plan. Grace has returning junior QB thats good. I watched Sevier County vs. Clinton Thursday and Clinton looked good at times , need to cut down the turnovers. SC had 2 long runs for td' s Clinton had 2 long passes for td's. i think final was 21 - 21.
