  1. hey coach, my name is david lovett, i coach a 14under, you may or may not want to scrimmage up(as far as age) but i can assure you we are not world series caliber. We just started this team to keep the season extended for a few select players. We are out of Crockett County and I can be reached at 731-445-5291 if you are interested give me a call and we will work something out.
  2. To your question about all the hype: This is Private versus Public, the greatest gift TSSAA has ever given to the public schools. They finally forced the private schools to earn a spot in the playoffs, notice i said earn, not purchase! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> I'm sure there will be refreshed memories of last year's game as well. I'm really glad to see this game is on Thursday because I sure want to see the Camden vs. Huntingdon game should be a knock out! But here's hoping to see a very hungry Bulldog defense that has a big appetite for a Bruin snack! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> Good luck dogs, I think they need at least one more good public school, country boy, woodshed beatin, blowout!!!
  3. "Huntingdon's offense physically whipped us in the second half," said Morris, now 7-9 in the series. "They ran right through us." Quote from Milan head coach in The Jackson Sun.
  4. Huntingdon is very much in shape, as milan found out last week, they owned the second half strictly because of conditioning. I do agree the spread offense is going to be a test, and one that Huntingdon needs to pass if they plan on doing well this season. Dyer County better fasten them chin straps up nice and tight because I really don't think they have played a team or will play a team this season that is going to be as physical as this years Huntingdon team. I look for a great match-up between two teams with two totally different game plans. Survey Says: Huntingdon 35 - Dyer County 14
  5. This Huntingdon squad seems to be a team whose offense is centered around the running game and Dyer County hoping to stretch the field out with 4 and 5 wide, and just simply outscore you. I don't see Huntingdon's DB's being able to stop that kind of spread offense very well, however I do see them getting in the back field and making it awful hard for the ol' QB to keep picking himself up off the ground and deliver accurate throws down field. If Huntingdon can keep pressure on the passer all night long I see them putting another one in the win column, if they cant keep pressure I see it coming down to a scoring match and whoever has the ball last wins. I haven't heard much from the Libert vs. DC game last week, anyone got any info as to how that game went, besides the DC win.
  6. If I heard correctly, the Huntingdon vs. Obion Central score ended up 6-1 (36-6) with Obion County's only score coming against Huntingdon's Freshman second team. This is not first hand information, but it did come from someone at the game. I believe Milan will be a team to be reckoned with, just like always, but with a rivalry as storied as Huntingdon vs. Milan, it would be very hard for me to predict either team winning in a blow out. P.S. I can't believe there is not already a Huntingdon/Milan thread it's a week one game and I can remember it being a week seven game and a thread started before spring practice is over!
