Well, I stand by the story told to me as the truth, nobody else was detained and not one person from Basin seemed to care that no one from the Central fans had done anything wrong. I am glad it wasn't worse and everyone got home safe. 

The wheelchair guy was detained and nearly went to jail. He wasn't the innocent one, I assure you on that. The officer who was on the scene is a very good friend and told me what actually happened. Central folks were not who started the ruckus, heck, our folks were the happy ones there! 

I went back and watched the entire game again from the live stream video the school system does with this COVID crap. I watched 77 on every play and I counted 2 actual pancakes but also had 2 holding calls and one of the pancakes was actually another hold/takedown that wasn't called. He is a good player but was not spectacular last night. And as for the wheelchair guy getting punched, according to the other adults that were around that mess said he was the one who started it with some very cruel comments toward a player and his family. Central folks were not the aggressor. 

Meigs is a better “Team” this year. Their players are very unselfish and play as a unit, better than last years team. Coach Fitzgerald has them tuned up. 

77 is pretty good but I would take 50 from Central over him any day. I will give props where props are due.... number 15 is a warrior, best player on the field for Basin by far and 12 was very elusive carrying the ball. But I don’t know if you could see 53, commander, he was a cheap shot artist and should have been tossed for some of the stuff he did. 

Good luck on the rest of the season, Cougars, hope your guys get healed up before the So Pitt game. 

Word from the mountain is its more serious than a hyperextended knee. Sure hate that for him and the cougars. 

Prayers for the Loudon kid with the bad leg injury. That play should have never been run, I would have never thought Coach H would not have taken a knee on that last play..... sad night indeed. 

Wow.... no other comments? Over 350 yards offense for the Chargers tonight. I wish Larry Davis could have been there to be a part tonight. 

TSSAA really did all they are actually authorized to do, they cleared the way for us to play on time and a full schedule. This COVID thing has affected every school system and community differently and they left it up to our local authorities to decide what is best for our kids.... although some local decisions have been highly questionable.

That is a big no..... Meigs is a really good program right now but their facilities are quite lacking. Not a lot of seats and visiting team dresses in a barn.

Congrats to Loudon, I doubted them against the Lions but They have made a believer out of me. Next week's game will be against the two best AAA teams in the state! 

Hard to beat a quality team twice in a season... going with the underdog, Red Bank

If Red Bank plays like they did mid season, I like their chances this week. 

Bradley by at least 10. They have played better teams and the passing threat is the real deal. McMinn hasn't had to play hardly anyone that can throw it as well as Bradley.

Yes, I think it would be semifinal game, not in Cookeville. I have seen both play and I don't think there is anyone better than these 2 in 3A OR 4A. 

Red Bank by as many as they want. I am looking forward to the probable meeting of Red Bank and Alcoa.... This would be the true State Championship game.

I guess you totally forgot that Central had it inside the 15 twice and didn't score. Could have been 20-6 the other way too.
