There are so many things wrong with this. It is a wonder we got a quality coach at all after the embarassment of last year, and now this. Did this parent go back and watch game film, set the qualifications for game ball, give players their assignments, or bust their butt getting the team ready for the season? I say this parent needs to quit their job, go back to school (or maybe go to school), get a teaching certificate, and become a coach. This is probably to much work, it is easier to stand around or get onto COACH T (anonimously) and talk about the coach. It would even be easier to say something good about the program and the coach. The sooner East Hickman parents support coaches and tell the nay sayers to go on their way; the sooner the sports programs will blossom.

East Hickman opened this year (9-12), in Lyles. The school is located 6.5 miles south of Dickson on Hwy 7. It split from Hickman County High located in Centerville. The school has approximately 600 students and is an awesome facility. We have needed a high school in this area for some time, and are very pleased and proud to have it.

I think East Hickman may surprise many teams this year. Thanks PageMan it was nice to get the facts of the game.

I believe this is the type of dirty play that can probably be expected from Lewis County this year. I was appalled when they came to East Hickman, horrible language and they were very verbal about taking players out of the game. I hope no one is hurt by this type of play. Basketball has become a physical game, but there should be no place for dirty play.

I know that several teams in the district have had scrimmages, how are your teams doing? I heard Lewis Co. looked very good this weekend. Lots of uptempo ball. East Hickman looked better than this summer, but still needs to improve. Girls are playing very hard. Their defense will keep them in alot of games. Hickman Co. had some tough games, but how are they looking? How did Marshall Co. do in the rematch with Austin East? Page? Loretto? Spring Hill? Giles Co.?
