I am so shocked with that score east really was coming for it all tonite congrats on such a great game played. I am glad the devil d kept them in the game when they had too shew that was so close. I really didn't understand why we kicked it there towards the end after the east kicker missed we put ours on i know when it is cool outside its harder to kick the ball but we had the ball at the 2 or 3 and 35seconds and 4and1 put greenway under center and run that ball. Nooney I know u have saw alot of football here at greeneville i have to ask u why have we 3 or 4 times this year got the ball back with about a 1 minute to go before half and all we do is take a knee. Is our passing game that week, I just don't get it. I know back in 01,02, around that time when cody was qb that was what greeneville strived on the 2 minute o. Has our playcalling became that conservative. BUt in the end a win is a win and it was good to see the ball being moved late. Hopefully we can pull things together and we wont have anymore scares like that this season

How can i talk about the devils d shutting down west ok what about that interception greenway threw. THe west offense comes out and loses like 10 yds thats what i am talking about u have to capatilize on those mistakes. Oh and i hope east brings 7 guys to the line b/c barb is right barner only need a foot of space plus he can get outside and make u pay. Who cares how big east is there daddy is west and if i am correct greeneville usually beats east too. Also if the run is been killing u on the "edges" watch out greenway will slip out and hurt u there. What else is there for me to say greeneville wins and does it in a big way

ok If i recall correctly except for the loss to greeneville south is mowing teams over. I really hope tn high has there own curt phillips b/c if u can't make an attempt to slow him down then u lose. Oh and if u do play west they will beat u anyways but u won't get to west u will play us correct

Ok is this the same team that was having coach problems at the greeneville game i believe someone from volunteer posted that. We beat u and west and I bet coach woods will have his guys fired up east is a step ahead of cherokee. U will not beat WEST simple as that

U all can't blame the coach i still haven't heard the real story on dockery but thats where u start see look at sullivan south u take out phillips there in the same situation that u guys are in how does an all state guy get kicked off the team u make up tons of excuses and keep him there right duh? but this isn't ur coaches fault its the lack of discipline in the players this is how it was in greeneville zeller was a great coach his players just stopped listening and didn't respect him and now mccurry has instilled a fear in the player that he is the coach and what he says goes so maybe this all just starts with dockery and when he was lost the team lost any swagger they had and no one has stepped up

Well the devils lost last year b/c of discipline something they strongly have now. But as for this game Boone will slaughter crockett boone 35-7

I would like to see Volunteer win they played greeneville hard for 3 quarters and fell off. I just saw west this week against greeneville and volunteer can't hang with west after losing to greeneville i think west will win this game by atleast 2 or 3 tds

The one fact i don't understand is why isn't Greeneville in the states top 10 in 4A. I hope when the new polls come out they will be b/c there are 3 teams there that have 3 or more losses and we have defeated west and south on this 5 game winning streak that there is enough.

Ok i understand what ur saying but we all realize this team isn't the same team that played in week 3. They were still playing as individuals back then now they are playing as one. I think some of the guys have a big head some are looking towards a game against south in the third round but most of the guys realize now that are seniors realize we are living one game at a time don't take anything for granted and leave ur heart out on the field. They will not over look east or crockett. I just wish dockery was still playing so we could have showed everyone how good this d really is i didn't understand the cover 3 against west why didn't we just put trevon hall on #88 and have that matchup i was really disappointed with the way they let that guy get so many yards but a win is a win great win guys keep it up

Ok dude honestly if u really did play for west u wouldn't be getting on here and say greeneville got lucky but i would say ur like 60 other guys from west and u ride the pine. So don't be coming on here with that crap u lost and u all got lucky heck 21-7 at one point we let u all back into this game its not that u all are that great we just allowed u all some big plays but the score could easily have been 42-21but we sometimes get the conservative play calls but i bet u haven't faced a front 7 like u did last nite they were all over ur big time wilds. You lost get over it south will beat u in the playoffs

Well its bout time to here some predictions? I know was struggle early but they have came on here as of late but there not as strong as teams of old or atleast they haven't been in the past 4 weeks. To be honest thats all the west fans have said is ur in for a rude awakening but u still seem to keep all the trojan weapons out of reach on coacht is that b/c this year they are few and far between or did they just so happen to stumble upon something great this week and please explain this partial success u are referring to rocky fan

Respect is earned eeeyyy? I see so does that mean when this team was 1-2 u didn't respect them I mean cause honestly this is a discussion board ya know and ur a fan and im a fan but to me it sounds like i have had faith and all the goodies for this team and u have just stumbled upon them oh about what 3 weeks ago. That rather dismal performance against boone got them to where they are today a unit of 1. Oh there was plenty in the boone game to inspire the players about that loss was pretty much enough inspiration itself but maybe not to u b/c all u heard was the band. So whats ur thought on the guys basketball team this year if were going into respect they lost wiggins does that mean u have no respect for them. Remember there just 16-17-18 yrs old they deserve respect and in all honesty this team has more potential to make a run farther than any previous GHS team has in the past. Greenway really isn't the focus here jordan wont get rattled unless west starts blitzing he still is having trouble reading the backside blitz. Barner will be a deciding factor in this game and he is so explosive especially behind the right side of the line. But the key to this game will be the devils defense they pretty much held cherokee to nothing last week after there first drive and cherokee ran at them with about 1500+lbs on the front line and the d found a way to stop it. If this was the trojans of old this would be a great game but i just dont think this years trojan o can stack up with our devils defense plain and simple

Well all is good and everything West has done really well here as of late of bringing there team together; but i hate to tell u this Greeneville team is working extremely well together. West isn't the team of old. The devils are playing great ball right now and honestly i personally feel as though they will be a very hard team to stop this week next week or even in the state quaterfinals
