This will be a interesting game.... East should win big, but they should of done a lot of things....

Unfortunatly this Coach has been like that, he plays favorites always have,it aint about winning or losing with him, its about whos mommy or daddy,or player kisses his dudokey donk. I truly believe this will be his last year, he has shown nothing, no "growing" or building a program, people always chirping about how a few disgruntled parents can tear a program apart.... well this guy has never built anything to tear apart, I live in East now and from what I see he gets all the support he needs, when he is on the field I dont see anybody trying to intrude, he is definetly doing his own thing, which is definetly the wrong thing... he is sinking his ship all by himself. I does not take a big "football mind" to see this is going nowhere. At spring hill he finally started running the ball more, guess what SUCCESS ! It took 3 years to figure that out?

I hate to see those kids work so hard to have that happen to them.......All we have on here is opinions, We go out there and cheer for our team, make sure our kids do thier part and expect at least a good effort from the coaches. do they even watch the game tapes ? Somebody needs to take that Gator away maybe something will get done. Start winning you get the gator back.

I did, Of corse I watch every game, and have from day 1, you guys are not that good where you trying to make it like we just couldnt handle you...poor defensive tactics allowed you to score that much, I assure you you will not score that much on a defensivly sound team. . As far as Coaches go , Lets see.......first Coach left on his own, a very good guy and coach, but he refused to be dictated to by the School Supt. who was , and was not , going to be on his team. I understand that, if he came into the stands at East Hickman he would be hugging people and getting hugged all night,so get your story straight. Baseball......yea he was ran off.....do you want this guy coahing your kids? Parents complained and complained ,nothing was done.... Im glad others are seeing this as it is not just me. Playcalling and making adjustments to what the other team is doing is horrible,I am not a fan of this King guy by any means, but have tried my best to give him the benefit of the doubt, some of the things he did last night are not things he can "work on" its plain stupidity.How can anybody support this....? East will only go so far with what they have and to shoot ourselves in the foot even more makes things worse. I am starting to see and hear the frustration from the fans again this year,its only a matter of time...............

You are looking for the Elephant in the room....look on the gator.....thats the problem. You identified some legit problems, but those have been brought up for 2 years now, you must be new on the scene... keep watching in a few moee games you will see what everyone on here is talking about

The biggest problem with East as a football team is Coaching , plain and simple. Horrible play calling, consistantly getting burned and the defense still has a long way to go, Where is Coach Harris!!!!!! The High School needs him

great game last night, east looked good on offense, defense needs work, lots of work, looked like lots of confusion to me. They should watch that tape all week and learn from the mistakes made. they should of not gave up that many points. All in all a good win for the Eagles.

I dont think it is not as much liking him, but his ways,People on here always say East is a Coaching Graveyard,crazy parents,corrupt administration,so on and so forth..... the problem is,there is always some kind of drama surrounding the Coaches here,the first Football Coach was Matt Jones,he was a great guy and knew his stuff about football,unfortunatly his ways of disclipline did not go well with some of these "influential people around here" ,and the main office was getting regular calls about him ,most were fabricated, or twisted truth, needless to say they rallied enough support to get his hands tied so much he said "adios" and parted ways.The baseball program was devistated from the start, the school officials chose Joshua Smith for the head baseball coaching job, basically without an interview or anything......well those same crazy parents started them complaints about him and his wide array of misconduct with the students. The school system ( Nash,Rivers,Jackson) chose to ignore the parents after many allegations were made.Well he did a few more choice stunts which resulted in him getting fired, he left and went to another school,started his same actions, but this time the TBI got him and he is now listed on the Tennessee Sex Offenders list. Amazing how the Hickman County School system knew about this guy but never acted.Thus allowed him to go prey on more young girls..... Then came Shane Britt to coach Baseball, this guy was the best thing that ever happened to East High School,but he was not a political schmoozer and did not let himself get pushed around by the "political connected folks", he was railroaded by the Administration and thier puppets for nothing. He put a few pushy people in thier place and the calls started to Supt. Nash hence,East Lost the best Coach they could ever ask for.Girls Basketball was coached by Dave Judkins, he hung around a few years and turned out to be a joke,he was only there to draw a paycheck and let his daughter run the team with no development of his players,( he could not develop them because he didnt know what he was even doing there), Soccer had a great coach in Joe Burrows thier second year they won thier district and were a force to be rekoned with,he developed the kids and that was the start of a great tradition.....unfortunatly Dr. Nash ran him off too..... Now we are back to Coach King..... he is currently the Football Coach, personally he seems to be a nice guy,he seems to have a little arrogance/ego issues which I totally do not understand..But oh well thats him. But his morals and true understanding of the game is what many question. He did some atrocious things his first year right out of the gate,( it is still believed he intentionally lost to Centerville,and used his best player as a blocker so his pet could run the ball 8 out of 10 times ) but that was to be expected. In his second year im sure you know all about his prize quarterback walking off the field during the game quitting and a few weeks later being allowed right back on the team and in his spot that another kid earned to be there by stepping up for his team, allowing full fledged fights on the sidelines among team members, playing favorites,showing preferential treatment to certain players, holding double standards for his players,and so on...... I know for a fact he was being looked at to be excused,but I think this is his last chance. I really do hope this guy turns himself around , holds himself accountable and does the right thing. I really do wish positive things from him and I prey he does succeed, but from his track record up to now..... I dont see it happening.

I heard that same thing ?WTF? Somebody must of schmoozed ole hoghead.He cuts his own team and the community to 4 home games.... wow what a brilliant move....that will gather needed support, I heard some scoop on that but not sure so I will refrain from posting. I cant wait to see how the King boy will play out this year, he had to step up last year when Coaches "thug pet" quit and he was doing well until Coach let "thug pet" back on and right back in the starting spot. Boy what a guy...... Cant wait to see how this year plays out.

Sorry....... cant have faith in,or support one who has done the things he has so far and managed to keep is job. We 100% support the kids....... Anyways we are not talking about "coach killers" trying to discuss how this season may turn out....... dont like the post....Dont read it. go on to the next one......

Coach Harris has been the difference maker in preparing these kids for the next level, they learn sound fundamentals, and he knows how to coach the kids and how to win games. Comparing middle school to high school is the same in my book,the game is the same,rules are the same, plays are made, defense still does what they are supposed to do,only difference is some middle schoolers have not developed yet to thier potential , it is the Coaches responsibility to use the tools he has to make it work for the team. No matter how bad the Coach is , There is some good talent coming up,I think it is getting close to East winning some games ,he cant screw up no matter what he does.

This will be the first year that all the Seniors have come up from Freshmen at this school since opening...I hope to see a good year.

Good lord....Montgomery Central fans giving advice on how a team should be ran....lol , Bottom line is he had 2 years to show us something..... he has not, he has failed, this last year he put the biggest thug in the High School at Qback.a few games in things didnt go his way, the thug quit and walked off the field during the game, Please note this same thug has quit his Freshman,Sophmore,and Junior year, and he did it again this year....but Coach let him back on the team,and back as Qback after he quit and embarrased the School and his team walking off the field and into the stands. That was the straw that broke the camels back in my book as far as him being our kids Coach.It showed me what this guy is all about, By allowing him (the thug) to return after his act, it destroyed all morals on the team and showed the younger kids "you can do whatever you want" and still play. No players respect him, parents dislike him, I have yet to meet one parent/fan who is happy with him and his performance as of yet. But this guy has a family and I am sure he will never find another job coaching, so he has realized he better do what Dr. Nash tells him, now he is with all the other jellyfish in East High school and is being a good "do boy". It has shown me he is about himself,which is wrong. I know a few folks in Dyer county who said he would not be welcome to come back to thier school, they are happy he is gone.

East HC should not be there, he pacifies thugs,loves #### kissers and is a joke on play calling, I heard him spouting last year about how he is gonna teach "sound" defense.....ha ha. the defense this year was a joke, totally off key. He has no morals and no disclipline on his team. I heard he is still not "IN" as you think he should be. But he did beat Centerville, and I think its safe to say East will beat them from here on out no matter who the Coach is. East Middle School will have the best team they had since they doninated the MCAC a few years ago, and how this group is handled from this point will dictate Success at East.I am sure your friend is a nice guy, but as a neutral observer he has a lot of improvement to do. Lying down and doing the will of the tyrant Dr.Nash will keep him his job , but his credit is gone with me.

Wow I bet East shocked Marshall County .......entering the 4th quaqrter and game tied 7 to 7 ? It is not the players.....it is the Coach.....East could of won that game. But his star thug threw 2 interceptions in the 4th to seal Eagle fate....oh my. Had he done the right thing and kept the freshmen right where he was, and used the quitter as a back and option, he would of won a few games..instead he chooses to show his players its ok to be a troublemaker,quit your team ,its ok to be a thug, even if you work hard and do your best the Coach will not honor that,but instead chose to appease ghetto trash. I heard he is finally gone after this year. It took too long, he was proven to be a joke last year,this year the right people got to the right person and finally good will shine over evil.
