Always remember...............anybody can lose at anytime, Lewis is not invincible. East has come a long way, they are going uphill rapidly, . win or lose one thing is for sure. East will be going 100% all night. The way they are Coached. There is no backing up in these kids. only way is forward. Good luck to East play 100% , nobody can take anything away from you.

I expected the loss, but pulled for East to win. Hoped they won. Centerville won handily, congratulations to the Bulldogs. The East Defense did very good in my eyes, taken to the fact we went 3 and out all night, bad punts,interceptions, and not moving the ball killed us ! Had our offense did anything, and gave the Defense a little rest, I think we would of hung in there the whole game. It shocked me almost to the half and score 7-0, But its get discouraging to sit there game after game and watch the same plays that do not work, I was hoping for something to be different, but same old stuff. One would think after 9 games, it has not worked once, why beat a deead horse, As far as the brilliant move leaving the starters in all game, it cost us, now the main linebacker is carried off the field , to the hospital. when Centerville put the JV (at least most JV ) in at 28-0 with 6 min left, common sense should kick in.

True very true......... One thing I can say is I am so glad we ( the evil East folks ) dont ever have to go to centerville for anything except to future games, which I say from here on out will be 99% East pounding of Centerville . Hickman may win this game......but East will win in the long run , and they also have something Centerville does not have.............CLASS. I remember reading that in the tennessean as well, it was several years ago. But for some reason i dont think it was just mid tenn,, it was the whole state. Big article about drugs in schools. I am sure Dr. Nash remembers it. Dont close your eyes it is the truth....

there was no recruiting involved, the rising Juniors and Seniors were given the option when the new School opened. This is the last year Centerville will have the East players on thier roster. East is getting ready to Explode onto the Football map. Holler at me in 2 or 3 years and see.

Please dont tell me that you have stopped talking about how good your son is and figured out how to operate a computer ????. Glad you left East hickman to follow your calling. I happened to know one of the Refs at that game, he told me that the Hickman County coach had no control of his players during the entire game , also they were very "low class" bunch. I was not there, and did not see it , but from the reports, very bad behavior from Centerville players and parents.

All I have heard is good things so far about this new coach, everybody seems real excited about this first year. The baseball team might as well look at this as the first year.

Mr. Smith, Evidently it has not sunk in to your head, you are still in your own little made up world like your Dad. You have alot of nerve to come on here and put your little 2 cents in about Coach Jones. (I cant really call it nerve, more like stupidity) . Coach Jones is doing a good job, people have dissagreements about his style of coaching as well as some tactics. But he is our Coach and respected as that,the kids that are there believe in him and are there because they want to be there. I believe things will work out just fine. Now lets revisit failure,.............. Coach Josh Smith....... You were absolutly the most dissapointing failure in the Schools first year. I actually hold our Atheletic Director most to blame on you and your failure. She knew as well as the Schools Administration from the early beginning of the School year that you were immature and childish, and in no way capable of being a Authority figure representing East Hickman High School,especially a Coach. I think the only reason you were allowed to remain, is a School board member felt bad for you and wanted to give you a chance, but with that said.....you were given a chance and failed miserably. Coach Jones is still here and the community is supporting him 100% . Oh one more thing......... the New Baseball Coach is the real deal......and he gets to use the Gator.
