It will all work its way out. East has a game in Adamsville friday.lets focus on that. East will be coming to play! Go East !

All we can do is stand behind our boys and hope for the best.

They have lost a bunch, I think more are to come. Friday night was a rough ride for them, after the game I was hearing lots of "new drama" so it looks like it is going to get worse before it gets better. I hope things turn around for these boys. A few weeks ago, my outlook for our Eagles facing Adamsville was good, depending on what happens this week, I am not to sure of it. I pray hard fro the boys to get a win.

Hopefully some adjustments will be made this week and they will be ready for win # 1 . The stands will be packed it is homecoming.

This team showed no class last year, and were extreemly dirty, I am in no doubt they will try to put on a show tommorrow night, the low class , dirty moves starts at the top, , they are known for it so we wont be suprised........... Coach Jones teaches our kids football and how to be good young men and we have class, we will win tommorrow night.

East will also be pumped for this one. After last year going for 2 points with a trick play when they were 20 ahead with 2 min left......classy move. East hickmans turn Friday. Coach Jones will have them ready, coming hard....hitting hard....focused on the task.......Hitting Stewart County dead in the mouth! East Hickman will win Friday!

I think they are talking about Collinwoods 1 player...... # 10 i believe, East has several threats this year.

This is referring to the kids who quit ..... think before you react. I am the number #1 fan.

They only reason you pulled the win last year was too many kids were playing both sides of the ball and we ran out of gas at the end, East had you all beat,That was almost the first win, but couldnt finish. Harpeth will be coming to East this year and be playing 93% of the same kids as last year, only thing they are older, bigger,stronger,and more experienced.They actually got to lift weights this year. This spells trouble for Harpeth, I think the JV beat Harpeth also last year. and some of those Kids have stepped up bigtime to the Varsity ranks. It will be a good game and we will be looking forward to it.

Not many happy people in Lyles. But we are still behind our Eagles 100%.

Giles County has always been tough traditionally, back when Hickman county was in the smaller district,we played them every year and it was a war.I dont know how they are now but they used to have the team stacked with football players and they played dirty and rough. Hickman will be tough,they have a great Sr. forward who can really score, CA used to be a powerhouse back in the day. We shall see it is way too early to predict how this will play out. I will say that we will play everygame like it is a championship game.

I dont think any of the East players would try to intentionally hurt anybody. From the years of playing Brentwood,Overton and Franklin it was " get tough or get off the field" . Loretto did very good and the team has some very good young talent, good attitudes and the players represented thier School well. About half the East team was from the old Hickman County High School, and the others are new students who have moved in, and freshmen. As far as winning the district they have a long way to go, the team is fortunate to have a great chemistry among each other , good coaches, and they work very hard. Thier depth gives them the option to run a full pressure game with frequent sub outs to keep all players rested. Good luck to loretto for the rest of the season, keep pushing , good things will happen.

Hickman county has no powerhouse program, never claim to be. But with our High School split, we no longer have to play the Brentwoods,Franklins,Overtons...... for what we had , we did well as expected. East Hickman will play Forrest School in chapel hill today. We know nothing about them so we shall see.

East Hickman lost to Loretto in extra innings, East almost had the game won in the last inning , having the game tied and the winning run on second. Very good first game, for having limited practices and virtually no hitting practice . Some errors cost about 3 or 4 runs. They will be ok this year. Loretto has some very good "junk" pitchers that were hard to hit in any situation
