I'll have to say that Hogg from DB has looked real good this year . I look forward to seeing the fine backs SHHS has,it will be a big chalenge for our defense.

GC may have said this or that, but I came away from the WB game thanking.Man, our coaches done a good job tonight.Watson put the kids where they needed to be on defense.He has to take chances with our small defense,and sometimes we will get burnt.When we stayed back and read the play,we looked weak in the middle. When we blitz into play, we were in better shap to make the play.I just hope that WB is as good as everyone thought. You are right, We have got to catch the ball.

We didn't get to play this year on friday,but our JV teams on monday and our freshman next thursday play at J Fred .Both games are at 5:30. It's a chance to see both schools future,and to pull for your Rebels or your Indians in my case.

We do need to speed up our punts,before someone takes a blocked punt back on us or the kicker gets hurt bad.

I know my kid didn't get to bed until 1:30,and as far as classes go,two of his teacher's gave him a bunch of homework.Two days ago when asking one of the teachers if he could have his homework assignment's for two days,her response was,{I don't like football and you will get the assignment when I'm ready}. For this reason,I hope no school has to travel on a thursday night again,or they have some teacher's with a little common since.One in a million of these kid's are going to make money at football,so if you are a teacher, please give those kids a fair chance to make their grades when they are trying to do the right thing and not asking for special treatment. My kid was up and off to school at the normal time.

I think the O-line for WB must have been letting DB blitz free on the outside just so they could counter with the little dump pass behind the LB's . You can't block 6 with 5 on most plays,so that's what I think the scheme was for.WB did hit the run straight up the middle on one drive .A team with a O-line like WB's and a {big running back} will make it hard on us. The D-line for DB is small but they sure get after people. I don't know if JS {2}is 100% for us are not.We need someone that will give 100% while on the field if he is hurt.

I'd like to thank the WB fans I sat with tonight {One played football at North Ala. and another is a Vietnam vet }for some old time Tennessee hospitality. I think both of you are kind of correct.The kicking game did keep DB in the game,and the punt he refered to was great in a since that it pinned Tennessee High down. I don't however know if a watchdog means that he is a fan,or if he is like a policeman for other teams. Either way,it was a good punt at the time.Roll Tribe

This will be a big challenge for our guys tonight. I've not seen WB, but I hear that they have took a little of our playbook. My biggest concern on defense is when we stunt and bring the LB's, and they trap or have a delayed handoff. On the other hand are we strong enough at LB to stay back and read the play. Except for a couple of blitzes that put us in the play,a lot of our tackles are way off the line.This makes for great stats, but you can't make those plays down the field against a good team. The DL had a great game last week and they have to take the presure off of our LB's. JS coming back won't hurt anything on both sides of the ball.We have to be able to pass the ball on offense.We had kids running the wrong routes and not even knowing the play because of the No huddle at times last week. Your going to drop a few or miss an open pass, that's part of it. I just hope we can grow better each week and get on the same page with every play. Roll Tribe

From all that I'm seeing on these post, William Blount has got a fine team this year.A game like this will show the boys how far they have to go. A win would be great,but sometimes you grow up more when you don't get the victory. Either way,I look forward to my first trip down to William Blount and hope both teams play well and come out safe.

I would hate to feed some of these kids now days, you take the kid from Hampton and this kid. That is as big or bigger than pro players

New to this,but wondered how many schools around east Tennesseee have players to watch. I will for the most part be at the DB games,but do have this friday and 1 open date to catch some other schools
