last year they lost a few... when the senior class were freshman they lost to alcoa's JV but won out after that. it was the first game of their high school careers. they lost and havn't since.

Alcoa is VERY athletic and very good. I am best friends with Chase their starting QB we played AAU BBall together. It will be a very good game, the winner will be the one with least mistakes.

oak ridge was very competitive. They did not score, or even move the ball on our first D though. You may have had one first down and it was an incredible catch by i think number three?? But as for your younger guys OR has a very bright future ahead. They ran the ball all over our second string. Maryville needs to find some depth on defense. We're one injury away from some trouble.

i believe with the new Nike contract at MHS a term in the contract is we have to play another Nike sponsored school within the next five years... so you may get your wish. The Herbstreet Classic was talked about but i'm not sure if that fell through or was scheduled for the future... we'll have to wait and see.

They faught their hearts out. All they wanted was to win that game. I wish simpson would have been healthy cause i would have liked to see him at 100%. He impressed me at 75%. I still think maplewood should have a movie deal. 2 straight 0-10 seasons then a state championship run, only to get beat by the giant. Reminds be of Friday Night Lights a little.
