Again. False.
05/13
A-AA East Sectional
Anderson County High School
HS
Clinton, TN
05/13 -05/15
A-AA Middle Sectional
HS
Nashville, TN
Waah waah waaaaaaaah, flatline.
-
Thats because the East Section was before the west and middle because they do not have sub-section.
False about sub sections in the East.
Fail?
-
I dont think we are going to ever see those City results
Or the Kenwood results.
-
Any results from city? MBA and the honeybears won, naturally, but what of the A/AA performances?
Rogers ran a 21.59 200... What else is new? His times keep falling little by little.
I just want to see how MLK did.
-
the east results will be posted the night of, as will the middle. We probably wont even see the west results we'll just run whoever shows up.
Last year, the East Section posted there results on 5/11 and West and Middle posted their's on 5/17.

Yeah, those Memphis schools were noticeably missing from that list.
But what are the dates for each Sectional Meet?
-
Good to hear, he landed pretty hard and was down a long time.

Are there any updates on Mahaney after his fall at the Great Eight?

What a workout today, my goodness and right before the VTC tomorrow, but ill tell you thats why we have one of the fiercest workouts in america. We started out with a 12 lap warmup, then we stretched, did our plyometrics, went to the weight room did 3 sets of squats at 400-450 with a 5 sec rest. then went back outside and ran a 100X1600 in 4:20-4:25 with a 3.1424231892 sec./pi rest. then a 5 mile cool down.
It looks like you got a little bit more rest than you should have.

Rogers is a stud...
10.83 and 21.86 in the 100 and 200. I wish I had stayed for the 200...
With Lord Byrum and Bentley gone, will Rogers double at state?
-
Apart from participating, I'm going to stay and watch those races just to be amazed by who's running in them. It should be very, very competitive. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Can we have a Pool Olympics meet?
If it's not too late, there's one you can enter... in China...
-
When are these finalized and what other meets are taken into account for it?
-
Well, the Highland Games are tomorrow, and although it's not all A/AA, it's still a rough field with a few of the top teams.
Who all is going to be there?
-
He's a decathlete. Of course he throws the discus.
I meant to ask if you know how far he throws the disc.
My bad.
-
That was the top performances from 2007 by people that will be back this year. They had to have meet the old elite standards. I would say you are correct about him throwing but he is still one of the top returners. We have three meets in the data base with the new "all inclusive" standard.
Oh, I didn't know you were using a database to get those returners.
And do you know if he throws discus?
-
Top Boys
Dontari Poe
Ben Davies
Rees Burt
Top girls
Quen Smith
Jasmine Foster
Brittany Grandberry
LaQuoya Kellie
I don't believe that Davies throws... only as a part of the Decathlon at State where one can only do so many events.
-
any suprises in the first meets?
Not really, just the same old pre-season track meets.
-
I'd like to say that I think both teams are great teams. Probably the best 2 teams in the state for their division (unlucky draw for both).
However, I watched the official TSSAA video about 4 times today looking only at the last 15 seconds. When our player got fouled at the end of the game, time should have actually expired right before he was fouled. We took a stop watch and timed it correctly. The clock keeper started the clock late twice, and he added on time. The three point shot at the end looked like a 3 to me, however if you watch the film the ref closest to the shot (about 5 ft. away-great view) called the shot a 2! The ref further away called it a 3, but it was not his call to make. The clock keeper immediately put up 3 points when the shot was made, and the refs never came together to make a final decision. They just ran off the court, but this shot should have NEVER taken place. Anybody that has the last 15 seconds on tape, carefully time it yourself and see who the real winner is. Congratulations to CPA on the win, and to the chacktaw's coach for somehow getting the clock keeper to add more time.
Do you have a link to the video?

The TSSAA scoreboard just went from 0:04 to 0:07... What's going on?
-
And your post certainly exhibits what a great sport and classy person you are, using profanity online and threatening violence. Quit embarrassing yourself and think before you post junk like this. My guess is his game made you look like a chump, so you are jealous.
CPA4Ever, I know for a fact that Miller never made TrentDilfer? look like a chump, although others have. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
But Trent, that was kind of uncalled for. You could have gotten that across some other way.
What peeved me was what CPA's players did to FRA's coach... I was enraged.

fast food makes you slow. shocker
Fast food makes me better!
Yay throwers!
Anyone have a meet coming up? I'd like to see some of the early-season times/distances/heights/etc.
