  1. It was a 25 point lead going into the 4th quarter. We don't have to beat teams by 25-30. Nice loss McGavock
  2. Well. from what all the experts said, this was going to be the game to end the streak, CHS was going to win, blah..blah..blah..blah. We have lost games this year with teams who had equal depth and talent, but it sure ain't Centennial. I know, I know, the next game at Centennial is going to be the night.
  3. Yeah, hopefully they wear those "blackout the Rebels" t-shirts again. That was real effective. WOW...nice upset. Almost.
  4. You are right, you are not a one-man team. When Kelly plays, you are a two-man team. When Kelly doesn't play, you are a 5-man team. I was more scared of McLemore last night than I was Kelly. McLemore was awesome last night and single-handedly put them back in the game late in the fourth quarter. I believe he had about 11 in the fourth quarter.
  5. Seems like somebody needs to go change their diaper and put their passy in. Quit your whinning about what fans are doing. EVERY school has fans who at times do not show class. I am sure there are never any Centennial fans who ever get out of line, they are all saints. Speaking of classless. The freshman game the other night was probably the worst case of bad class and a coach who just has no clue how to act. The Centennial freshman coach, if you want to call him that, was ejected early in the first quarter for making contact with an official and then refusing to sit down. He showed his butt in front of his kids and school. Talking about immature, he's a coach. Coach Kelly comes over to finish the game game and makes a comment "well I guess he's fired". Guess what? That same Coach Jackson was on the Centennial sideline last night as an assistant coach for Coach Kelly. By the way FHS won by about 50. hahahaWhat team got ripped by 15 against Independence? Not Franklin Have you ever heard this before....SWITCH
  6. I echo those feelings Harrick. They should play a round robin tournament and the winner getting a big cherry for the biggest cherry pickers.
  7. I think the leadership on this team comes from the junior class. Yes, it would be nice to have some senior leadership, but that is not going to hurt us due to the fact that these kids have stepped up all season long.
  8. Nice having you back on Metro. Of course I was there last night, don't miss any Rebels games. I can understand what you are saying about the scores, but you really can't judge what may happen by scores, or we can look at how Centennial only beat Smyrna by 8. They may be the worst AAA team in the state (4-13). So scores sometimes lie. I believe the Rebels will win by 13. This team will keep on throwing kids out there and Centennial can't do that. The Cougars have some very good players, but I think depth will prvail. I am really happy for McLemore, it was good Kelly has been out because it showed that McLemore is as important to this team and anybody else. Yes, Kegarise had a banged up knee, but is now full strength and shooting like out.
  9. Sorry Einstein, I spelled a word wrong. It was supposed to be "cop". Don't worry about policing the posters, people can write anything they want to on a thread. If you don't like it, well, grow up then. Use that idiot flame one again, it was good.
  10. nice reply moron, I knew you would come up with something stupid.
  11. What are you doing now, worrying about posts that don't pertain to the topic. Okay for you I guess. I didn't realize you were the poster cob. Look who the little kid is, go cry somewhere else. Can't wait for this reply!!! Another scolding?
  12. Yup, that was by far our worst game of the season. We were missing 4 players to football, especially Jamaul Starnes who is averaging about 14 points and 9 rebounds a game. But, you did beat us. I am more worried about seeing NE Clarksville. How do you explain getting beat by McGavock? They also beat us by 2. We have played a very tough non-distrct schedule. Mt. Juliet, 21 point win, a very tough 3 games in Florida, Columbia 3 times. You are right though, until we can prove we can play outside the district people will doubt us.
  13. Spoken like a true college scout. You are the only scout that I know who keeps predicting outcome of games. You are the pathetic one. Scout.....yeah right.
  14. You apparently like to live in the past. I have been around here for 4 years and I will say D12 has been better. Although, I believe we did make it out of the region last year and then lost to the eventual state runner-ups. I also believe the mighty D12 team that made it to Mboro did not make it to the state finals. I have just been talking about this year and frankly if we do make it to Mboro then we will be very fortunate. We lost 67% of our scoring last year and I will bet you we will make it to substates again. This year the juniors and sophomores are scoring 97% of our scoring, so if you go back and read all the previous posts you will see me saying that you better beat us this year because you won't beat us next year. The competition in D12 night to night is not good this year. When an 0-9 team can beat probably your number 2 team, I just don't call that being competitive. Again, you Metro guys have a hard time understanding what you read because we keep saying Antioch is a great team and is far better than any team that we have in D11....this year. If they do not win States than it will be the biggest choke job ever. Like I said Nollner will have to go somewhere else next year because he is graduating a state championship team.
  15. Hey Toysrus, Metro is a one team district this year. McGavock lucked out against FHS amd now it seems they couldn't even beat Croft MS. They are supposed to be the second team in Metro and they have gotten beat by an 0-9 team and than beat by Stratford who has gotten worn out by just about every team in D11. All we can do is keep dominating our district and see what happens, remember just about our entire team are juniors, can't wait to see the mighty Antioch next year. Wonder where Nollner will go next year after he graduates all of Crowders players.
  16. I am sure he will be on the floor playing next Friday night. We have seen this type thing before.
  17. Hey, RavensRump...the votes are in.....you're an idiot for bringing this up. Until you little birds can play with us, you need to keep it shut. Don't ask me about a "winter tournament" when you guys either played Page or played some other weak A or AA team.
  18. Franklin by 18, if Coach Johnson doesn't call the dogs off to early. I just think we are too deep for Brentwood. Brentwood has some fine players and this is a rivalry game. Coach King will have them ready to play and it may be a very good first half.
  19. Come on, leave BallBoy alone. He is welcome here. He has called me so many names that it has gotten to be funny. Now I am crazy...I guess. My only problem with Ball Boy, is that he never answers questions that people ask. I have asked many different questions, but he just can't seem to answer them. I believe he does have some knowledge of basketball but just has a hard time expressing. He is welcome here as long as he keeps us laughing at his moronic posts.
  20. Maybe when Ravenwood comes to Franklin later on they can wear those "Black out the Rebels" t-shirts. They were real effective last time you wore them. Very original idea.
  21. Welcome back Ball Boy. Even though we do not see eye to eye on most things, it is still fun to get you riled up. To answer some of your questions on this post. The Raiders did not be Frankin...Freddy Carpenter did, ask anybody on either side who was there. The Rebels did go 1-2 in Florida against good competition, but we should have won those games. The 2 teams who beat us would both finish second in Metro. D12 is not better, just Antioch, everybody else is average. Stratford beat McGavock, everybody in D11 who played Stratford, beat them. Friday night's game should be good because of the rivalry and King coaching. I'd take Johnson overday. The fact that they could only score 44 last nigth againdst Hillsboro bothers me. I was hoping for a challenge Fridat night.
  22. Who have they beaten.....Page? Oh yeah, they split with the powerful patriots. FHS had you guys down by 30 at one point before Coach called the dogs off.
  23. Not only did Young have 20, but he had 17 in the second half. He didn't score his first basket till his buzzer shot at the end of the first half. He also had 5 boards, 4 steals, and 7 assists. He was incredible. Miller-Mclemore also had 10 rebounds for a double-double. Brentwood lost to Hillsboro, only scoring 44 points. They will need a lot more Friday night.
